Concerning the Gold, the pattern is a cup and handle, which signifies trend continuation or reversal.

Hey Nick. Your videos are very helpful. Just a question that COT data is updated on every Friday but the changes are up-to Tuesdays. Means we lag three days when we are able to know the figures. Do you think that weekly changes in COT data is still relevant while the market has gone ahead by 3 days when the data is released.

Question what will occur to the dxy and gold if there's a rate cut?
More US rate cuts = more bearish dollar, more bullish gold
More global rate cuts = more bullish for gold

But if you look the fundamental side, the information lean bearish USD/CAD, despite the higher for longer rates in USA, and the markets predicts rate cuts to be 2 to 3.
@@tatendasimonnyikadzino9991 it's a valid point, but I personally dont expect 2-3 rates cut. And even if those rates cut happen, I still see US bullish against CAD. The truth is US rates are higher and mantaining, while CAD rates are lower and cutting.
