Dear New Zealand, greetings from Australia! It feels wonderful to be a human after such a ceremony and unity! What happened to innocent people, cannot be erased, but evil did not have the last word. And it shall not prevail.

How come we do not see these same outpourings of grief, sympathy and solidarity when the Yazidis and many others including Christians get massacred in Islamic countries? Or do those people not matter to Western Liberals, or to Muslims everywhere?

I watched the whole ceremony yesterday on TV, I cried cold tears, something touched my soul like never before, it's the purest thing I've watched in a very long time I felt like I was present there with those beautiful people. I want to say the truest and most honest and deserved THANK YOU to the people of New Zealand. you created the best image I've seen in this world. May God bless you now and always.

New Zealand’s respect for self and others is the catalyst for world consciousness, such resilient and accepting people with political and community leaders who demonstrate humanity in the most positive manner even following horrific tragedy brings people together not the opposite. As an Australian I’m ashamed of our political leaders who have either disgraced Australia in comments of despicable hatred or changed viewpoints for political gains following the terror attack. Why such differences exist between Australia and New Zealand bewilders me, I Hope New Zealand’s practice of courageous unity spawns across the ocean to teach decency and humanity that the rest of the world embraces.

I am also here in New Zealand, the attack that happened on Friday, the 15th of March was absolutely unheard of. I'm 19 years old and I never thought I would see something like this in our little country. As it has been said so many times, this attack will never define who we are as a nation. Thank you for posting this video.

Long Live Egypt.... But I never saw this in Egypt when all those Coptic Christians were killed by the hundreds in Egypt a few years ago. Never saw the same outpouring of sympathy and support from other Muslim nations or Muslims worldwide or Politicians and Christians/Atheists in Western nations either over massacres of Christians that has happened in Egypt or Pakistan.

From out of the darkness comes the light....New Zealand has now shown the whole World how to set in place, the tools to achieve peace, love and harmony. It will not happen over night but, if we try, it is achievable over time.
I am not a religious man by any means. I am an atheist. That is my personal choice. However, I respect all those who are devout to their religion . The key word is respect. The only way you can give respect is to have the same respect shown to you.
I am Australian and it saddens me to know that an Australian national perpetrated this attack in New Zealand. Australian by birth he might be, but his radical ideology is not founded on who we are as a whole.
The New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, is a pillar of strength and a true leader. I'm sure her name will be revered in the annuls of history.

You take one person assume they’re religion then take the acts of a handful of people and project them onto the 1.4 billion muslims in the world.
Assuming you are a Christian how would you feel if the actions of the westboro Baptist church and the KKK who use the Christian god as justification for their actions were put at your feet. If you constantly were expected to apologise for their beliefs if you were treated as if these actions were your own.
Generalisations and assumptions are the basic DNA of racism. And very unchrist like of you.

It's simple really. You either turn towards loving each other or you turn towards hating each other and brutality. The former is a novel solution to everyone, but don't mistake being loving for stupidity or naivety, because it is nether. The latter solution of hatred is a zero sum game that thousands of years of human history has shown simply doesn't work and will result in the entire planet being destroyed. It wasn't the West that started hate disease. It started with 911, many other terror events, brutal wars in the Mid-East (as usual) and millions of Muslims moving to mostly Western non-Muslim nations, due to their own dysfunctional Islamic nations. Do you go around apologising for the actions of the west pro baptist church and the KKK and what they do in the name of the Christian faith? Or do you do as Christ teaches and show god will and compassion to all of mankind?

Friendship, kindness, love, respect, togetherness and etc, make us human beings. May God bless New Zealand and the World. Stupidity has no place in our communities, especially when we got greater enemies like Cocid-19.
