Farm DEHORNS Calves - But Why?

WARNING - Some viewers may find this content distressing. However, this isn't done with malice intent. Ed sets out to dehorn the calves before they go out for summer. This is to ensure the safety of other cattle and other working with the soon to be cows. Every precaution is taken, all calves are given anaesthetic to reduce pain so they don't feel a thing.

Hello ED and family, dehorning calves and cattle always made me shudder!!!!!. We used to use loppers on the calves and then put a red hot iron on them, for the cattle it was cheese wire and we stuffed what we called putty to stop the bleeding. I was glad when they started buying polled Angus calves, I used to call them polly Angus,s and its a name I still use today!!!! . I really enjoy your channel please keep it up🙂

Your dehorner is better than the one I used when I was on the farm I had one connected to the gas bottle the pipe would get in the way all the time
And Jamie can you put less of the subscribe thing up please your adding more and more in every video
