Nicole thank you very much for your videos! one question : I've noticed that you almost strike with your knee instead of using a classic kick, can I ask you why? is the knee strike more effective? Thank you very much
I teach the knee for close quarters attacks. If someone is already within striking distance of you, then a knee is easily accessible. You could do a kick if you weren't able to drive in for a groin strike or if the person was at a distance, or holding you at a distance. It just depends on the circumstances and what is available to you at the time. Also, with a knee to the groin, you can grab onto the attacker and drive in for a stronger strike. A kick could put you off balance which is why it isn't the first type of strike I teach.
@@saracola1310 The great thing about self-defense is that it's not about what you SHOULD do...it's about what you CAN do. :) You do whatever you can and whatever is available in the moment.
Does knee always work? I mean you have really strong legs so knee in groin from you must hurt really really bad, but what about some girls that has weak legs?
It's not about strength! Bringing your knee up with any kind of force into the groin is going to be painful and offer an opportunity to either run away or strike again. I teach kids and high school girls and they deliver great knees! You don't have to be the strongest person in the world to be able to defend yourself.

@@Nicole_Snell that's extremely clear! THANKS!
@@saracola1310 I'm glad I could help! I have a video coming out in a few weeks where I'll show a "snap kick"!
@@Nicole_Snell really? would be great! I don't know why but I feel more confident with a kick better than a knee! :/

Does kneeing him really work? I think most guys will instinctually protect that area. What do you think?
It works!
Your knee strikes look super powerful. I bet you could rupture a set of testicles if you had to. No protection that dude would been 🤢🤢
🤣 Don't mess with her
