I've had the same duplicate thing happen with online games - obviously you notice it more because of the words. I even had the same (losing) cashword game 3 times in a row!

Yes, the online system has a number of cards and their layouts/outcomes can be exactly the same. I’ve had this on a large number of their cards online
The monopoly one (£5) they used to have, the cash word one you had, and a few others
