For those that’s wondering.... if you have one of the class specific charms with “??”, you can reroll perk to unlock the said perk for that class. First time I did it it unlocked the HYSTERIA on my ASSASSIN CHARM for my assassin
I’m on PS4 farming at the moment. Your recommended Assassin build is helping me a lot. But instead of using the sticky bomb I’m using a legendary dirt throw that ignites enemies plus cause hallucinations to nearby enemies
You should be using the 3rd first row ronin perk anyway. Weakening burst costs 1 resolve, and your ghost weapons either already do enough damage or the utility it brings makes damage irrelevant. Cooldown on spirit animals starts as soon as you cast it. I'm not at my ps4 right now, but I believe I have little to nothing for ability cool down besides the perk. By the time the dog disappears, the cooldown is over 50% done. It's much more helpful than incense in nightmare survival because the dog will draw aggro when you have to solo a point. I also re-rolled the charm to give it a much bigger healing radius, so trying to get heals from it is less troublesome.
@@bkhai1041 alright that does sound like a reasonable enough point to give it a shot. though i've been spamming weakening and i believe it costs half a resolve, which is why i have +1 resolve on my charm. that gives me the ability to be almost always at 4, 3.5 or 3 resolve and when needed, to use my ult. but I will give the but im gonna give the dog a go.
@@96insaneboy Yeah I run with 4 resolve. Weakening seems good actually, but in nightmare, I'm expected to keep everyone healthy and alive. The DPS are expected to kill anything that moves. Even if you fully built the ultimate DPS ronin, it will never come close to any other class, so it doesn't seem worth it. To me, having an extra resolve just means that my next ultimate will be available that much faster.
This is helpful. These class charms are pretty rare but those perks make them unique. However, especially if you're playing solo nightmare and even gold missions, Combat Regen is almost mandatory for me. I feel like the single charm slot is overloaded with good options. If some of these skills or healing abilities were available on other slots (or if we had 2 charm slots instead of one), we'd probably be able to double the limited build variety. That's not a complaint, just an observation. I'm having a blast with this amazingly free dlc.
Very true but once you get higher up you realize there are other ways to heal. My friend is a good ronin so rather than use combat regen I use hysteria and have the Mist of yagata to heal me
@@demetrioshill8484 i can't get any higher up than 110 on all 4 characters. Having a Ronin to heal you is much different than playing through nightmare missions solo. I use hysteria also when I'm playing survival or with a friend. But when I play solo I swap it out for Comabt Regen. Without it, you have to run around like a coward until your cool downs are up if you are low health.
Rising tempo would be so effective with perfect parry and perfect dodge, if you stacked melee damage it would be insane. Sammy does seem to have have a lot of variations that can be explored

i use it with the chain vanish technique. i always start on high ground to get 1 assassinate(preferably 2nd mob) then i vanish and assassinate in the middle and last of the group. its so fun seeing them fight each other
Ronins healing spirit is not reliable, bec the dog is never where you are. In easier modes you can run behind him, but in nightmare it dies very quick and you have to move much more... sry for my bad english
I got Samurai charm while using assasin, and the assasins charm while using assasin also. Not positive if it matters what class you use at the time, but maybe it just has a higher chance? I’ve also gotten multiple of the same legendary sword, and the legendary healing gourd, didn’t know that was possible, they had different secondary perks but those change
Will the perk 'healing incense radius' work with the healing dog? So you would have a bigger area even though it's running around. Something to test out I think.
Honestly I prefer scavenger with hunter, I use shield piercer instead of headshot refund and smoke bomb with munitions. Never run out of ammo and don’t sacrifice body shots on shielded enemies

Speak for your self. The samurai charm is super dope. With that heavenly strike and blessed strike n spirit pull, you instantly get fully healed while dealing major damage.
He's probably using Bomb Pack (or the Forbidden Medicine legendary bomb pack). It replaces your half bow so no more long-range sniping but it helps with AOE attacks and interrupting ALL attacking enemies. Plus, the Forbidden Medicine bombs provide healing when you throw them as well. I only use Bomb Packs for my Ronin now.
So, I started using the legendary Kunai with 15 sec cool down per kill on ronin. I also gave the ronin the 50% increase ghost weapon dmg. So now I can one shot all the lower level enemies and execute enemies faster. I also have the bomb pack. So I unload on a huge wave and spam my kunais, one shooting everyone, cause 2 kills with the kunai resets the kunai cd. I think this Is too op. I racked up 260 kills my first time trying this...
@@devine532 Yeah, so, this is a 2 year old comment. I haven't played Legends in almost 2 years, I did 95% of the content, even got the toothpick twice or so. So, if I recall correctly, even if you build your kunai right, only ronin can one shot trash mobs because of the 50% gwd perk. This is of course, only in gold or lower. At platinum and higher, they just have too much health, so you have to be less reliant on it and use it on low health enemies. However, kunai are good even in hellmode, I used them with ronin. You need to shotgun them so that you can get multiple hits on one enemy. It fucks up purple oni lords real good, so anything with a lower health pool will die that much faster. I used stone master like 85% of the time, so I would tap triangle and wait until my model gets as close as possible to the enemy, then use the kunai. Should be some videos on it, it's good tech.

Not if you only play one class. I have 5 Hunter Charms but I cannot live without combat regen. I hate not having it and I feel like my damage is high enough without weakness arrows. Sucks you have to give up Combat Regen to get any of these perks. Also I get a legendary every few gold games so the drop rate isn’t that low, just RNG
@@Scifiguy177 that's untrue though, the drop rates for these charms is rarer than legendaries. I have 40 legendaries, and only 3 class specific charms. I have every class rank 30 so I've played alot on each, these charms are hella rare.

@@Scifiguy177 I used to really like combat regen too early game but as I've got late game I've switched it off of builds, my archer doesn't generally take damage I run helmet piercer instead with 40 percent draw speed and 20 percent headshot damage across the bow and charm, damage increase on both ghost weapons and a water master katana to deal with shield users.

If you can get close, parry or block the spear attack and it cancels the crows. If you're far away, just annihilate them as fast as you can, or hide behind a wall. As weak as they are, they are easily one of the most annoying enemies in nightmare survival.
i usually ping them so everyone knows im prioritizing him, then hit him with a sticky bomb and stagger him with wind stance by tapping triangle repeatedly then spamming him with the water stance flurry strike by holding triangle then tapping it
I got 2 samurai charms and 1 assassin as they the only I unlocked. I got I think on survival gold missions, I think maybe when the objectives get completed.

I follow the channel gor a while, I feel like im ready for nightmare but solo as ronin is just too much work for all the trouble I just quit playing trying because people whether deconnect themselves or dont simply have the DPS...I m on Europe (London time) , is there anyone who want to tag with me. I would play as ronin(i have two builds for two team ideas).
You can solo nightmare story but definitely not survival. The game has way too many aoe's, attacks that track you, bears, and of course... Tengu. There aren't enough smoke bombs or vanishes in the world to deal with all that bs. Maybe in the future people will attempt it and set records for furthest wave reached, but I doubt anyone will ever beat it. Unless they do Destiny type shit and you can outlevel nightmare.

4:40 also the ability cooldown on the incense is 45s and on the spirit animal is 62. Imma go with the incense.

Yeah you can get dupes, I have a dupe of almost every legendary now it's pretty common

Is this in gold/silver/bronze survival? Those kunai seemed fun to me but I didn't see any viable way to use them in nightmare survival.

I just did survival on gold, didn't finish it, but that's how I got it, the 2nd survival.
Just keep playing as assasin. It's random drop so you can do any activity, as long as you're running assasin since it's a class special item.
Farm on servered hearts, I got 5 legendaries there.

Should note that these charms are super rare. Rather than legendaries so don’t dismantle them!
Also learned that reforging to 11p doesn't always get you this perks

Both. But the higher your Ki the better the rewards. The ones he describes are at the higher levels and all rewards are random.

Hey guys. I follow the channel gor a while, I feel like im ready for nightmare but solo as ronin is just too much work for all the trouble I just quit playing trying because people whether deconnect themselves or dont simply have the DPS...I m on Europe (London time) , is there anyone who want to tag with me. You have to be lucky by doing any silver or higher missions
These charms are good yet not strong enough to carry the vast majority of players in this game 😂 Most players will probably never reach NM survival
@x_LastStand_x Exactly and most people do it solo queue which is why people who keep solo queuing are quite stupid

You can solo nightmare story but definitely not survival. The game has way too many aoe's, attacks that track you, bears, and of course... Tengu. There aren't enough smoke bombs or vanishes in the world to deal with all that bs.
Maybe in the future people will attempt it and set records for furthest wave reached, but I doubt anyone will ever beat it. Unless they do Destiny type shit and you can outlevel nightmare.
@x_LastStand_x That might be true but using exploits is not a true representation of your own skill, it actually shows the lack of said skill
