You can tell Ice Spice wasn't used to talking about something so vulnerable. I think she mostly held her own but she was flipping back and forth between the topic of the song and the usual top 40 rap type stuff. Vulnerable is actually powerful, I can't wait until these rappers actually have something _real_ to say.
That's not to say top 40 rap and trap isn't valid obviously, but I just wanna hear something emotionally charged.

That aside, I am obsessed with the light bulb and how it illustrates the lyrics perfectly of how you can take the ideas but never the lasting impact the creator has. I truly think Spiderboy thought he was gonna own Taylor with her masters, and Karma had the last laugh because she can keep reinventing and re-recording and her fans stay loyal because we know counterfeit when we see it.
