Best dizzee interview I’ve ever seen. He brought the energy
Real Pioneer in UK rap, love Dizzee Rascal. Boy in the corner will live on for many years too come such a nostalgic album.
Most definitely
Hopefully lives on forever. Groundbreaking is lightly used
You can tell Mitch is a realllll grime fan
He grew up in that era
@@mr__OKik the studios wiley dizzee and them man used to record in, let me tell u these man were active 😂😂😂
Were from that era so definitely man!
All that new era cap talk, msn, avirex, lot 29, nokia phones, schott jackets, evisu etc, blud those were the days man #1991baby
This convo was dope man. Dizzee doesn’t usually go this in-depth about the early years 👏🏽💯
This is the best episode because you can clearly see and feel Mitch knows his history and was really there seeing everything. As a grime fan from then too it was a great time for uk music and mad to think artists struggled to break America then & the ones that did were seen as sellouts changing the music. Really it was the smart thing to do but we were all hooked on grime in the uk
*Trainers By The TruckLoad, Trainers By The Ton*
Issa Airforce One…
Mitch gave flowers. Yo Mitch your a g bro showed respect and gave man some serious answers to questions I had for dizzie

Dizzee and Wiley are two best mcs and most important to uk culture
Man. The right guy did this interview. I think Dizzee was overwhelmed by the realness
He was just kissing ass the entire time .. Dizzee was overwhelmed by his kiss assing
Dizzee had like 2 Nike trainers of his own. That don’t get spoken about enough
💯
Those 90s are pure fire and I’m an am1 kid
Among sneakerheads Dizzees Nike are legendary, which is why they both sell for thousands of dollars.
Air max 90s is a iconic legendary trainer I still rock them in 2024
This is a UK legend right here 🔥🔥
King Dizzee, my GOD, so Dizzee produced all those hits. He released those monster hits independently WOW. Iconic more than we knew. I am going to stream that new album. Congrats Dizzee.
Legend
that’s how ik im getting old, some people won’t even know what he did for the scene
Enjoyed that. Nice one Kick Game.
Bless up dizzee, boy in da corner was way ahead of its time! Iconic! 🐐
Jeeeeeeeeezzzzzeeeee, man like Raskit. Look forward to this one 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Whats the song in the intro called
When Dizzie says he was independent during the Dance with me and Bonkers era. At that time, he truly was the "Boy in the corner". Kano, JME, Chip, Dizzie, Skepta, and Wiley were the originals. Facts.
Mitch was hyped.. I would be too.. man like dizzee🤩🤩 my gosh 🔥🔥
Only the real OGs know about Spiffy and Naff Naff 😅 throwback to primary school days
Naff Naff is going back to 88/89😊days

CAPTAIN ROSCOE WITH A CROSSBOW 💯🔥
One of the best episodes EVER!!!!!🎉❤
1:49 Bee Dubs were already a style icon in the graff scene here in Australia since they first hit the scene. Glad you could finally join us 😂
So many gems dropped in this by him. When hes talking about Spliffy. Oh my days
True Nostalgia seeing and hearing Dizzee. Takes me straight back to school 😎
Yeah this slaps 🍿
Fizzed real huff respect for that man. During the London olympics 2012 saw man and he said safe to man down to earth. Real G
I remember seeing Dizzee open for The Streets in DC. Then I met him - in an empty ass bar St. Ex after the show, when he wasn't old enough to be there. What a time!
Love that he mentioned Wiley’s name a few times! Respect that
Im hoping after Dubai he is opening up to a reunion!!
Yeah totally agree was nice to see him mention his name without any disrespect
Best interview you have done so far...this was gooood !!!!
Good to hear dizzee talking positive of Wiley. A joint project from them both would be be huge.
My name is Dizzy diz I handle my Biz absolute Legend nuff respect to Legend Dizzee Rascal and kick game 👊🏾 dope af interview
Dizzie’s bad ass. 5 number ones he said from his independent label . Jeez!
This interviewer is on point.
Jus a rascal hit different 💯
ohhhhhh here we go, BIG tings
There has never been anything as grimey as when diz used to produce those mad beats.. big up spyro n that for all the oriental style beats that had there own vibe that u could listen to without mcs but raskit had somethin mad different, real dark choppy beats went so wellwith his voice
How this not got more views
Persian Violets!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
My respect levels for Dizzee just sky rocketed for mentioning Gambia in the Benachin(What Gambians and Senegalese call Jollof) talks. It originated in Senegal though, Jollof was made by the Wolof people it's literally in the name. Ghanaians and Nigerians try do the colonizer ting and act like they're the end all and be all smfh. + Gambia just won the last worldwide competition Shoutout Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cameroon as well
Spliffy and trip to eclipse!! Some memories there man
Dizzeeeeeee the fucking man!!! That tune with E40 where da g’s a classic
I always have time for Dizzee’s interviews, really enjoyed this. Craig asked some great questions but was a bit too excited at times 😂
The original DON
Ps big up Janice where you at?!
I enjoyed the slow pan across the double neck in the intro.
Realist lyric for me in his new one is when he says how did I stay so calm this long. (Raskit knows himself)
😂😂😂 she said too well
real legend!
31:48 raskit aint lying, i went in there 2 years ago, its like another kick game but just in bethnal green.
I actually need to go back there at some point.
There’s something similar in harlesden also and shepherds bush market (uxbridge road). They’re everywhere really.
Mitch! 👏🏾🫡
The legend, the myth

Flipping heck Dizzee is Ghanaian and Nigerian! Didn’t thing anyone my same origins

Dizzee’s smart man! Bonkers days was independent! He don’t get his shine still. The whole bm drama lowkey pushed him to comeback and go out strong i reckon
damn the streets and dizzee on a show would be crazy esp on a us tour
0:23 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 classic Dizzee
The Pioneer of UK rap right there !!
I remember watching him and nasty crew performing in Stratford Rex 2002, no one new how anyone looked thise days, these man were radio famous to most of us. None the less couole pple got stabbed that night , some things never change.
Dizzee at cream fields main stage was legendary 💯🙏🫡
YES YES YES YES YES
I feel sorry for people born 2000s onwards. Missed so many influential guys. The episode, unreal.
Should of found a picture of the Tounge and Cheek album air max 90s he had made up and put a picture up of it when spoke about. Video slipped there. 25 mins of talking and not zoomed in to any trainers he liked properly. Another slip there. Apart from that loved it. 🫶🏼
Facts
