A beautiful authentic rumba story well told. Is it the best I've ever seen? Probably not. but I would pay money to see this because it's my kind of rumba and its far better ( or at least more interesting) than alot of the rubbish I see from even many of the best dancers today.
I absolutely agree. Why can't they do this more often? Some of the music now is so horrible I can't listen, just watch. This couple is outstanding because it seems to be coming from a place that's genuine.

This couple understand that the beauty of rumba is in the tiny subtle moments of stillness in between all the shapes and movements and how well those moments are expressed harmoniously as a couple and authentically through the music. Yes, this piece of music is gorgeous and they express it so well. My only dislike is that she is prone to mouth the lyrics too much which spoiled it just a little for me. I rather see dancers express intensity and feeling through the body and to some degree the face, rather that lip syncing the words..That's why I often prefer instrumental music especially in rumba. Lyrics can often unnecessarily complicate things IMO.
@@joetesta8754 I couldn't agree more with the mouthing of lyrics as it most often detracts from the dance. Regardless, this couple has been dancing for a very long time together but unfortunately there are not a lot of videos of them performing here on youtube. Hopefully, that changes. Are they a married couple? I want to know more about them. :) Have a good day!
