The reason why he's so adamant to lie through his teeth to save face is very simply - he got bullied and tossed around as a kid A LOT. Every other streamer owns up to their BS, because they know it's absurd to lie. This guy tho...One lie on top of another, he just keeps going on and on and on. It also shows that he doesnt have friends. If he does, or "calls them that", that's not it. Because friends would call him out on his BS, so he would learn fast to not lie. But my guess is his "friendships" are like the ones with iK and other dudes he used to play with - he just bosses them around like peasants.
