GUYS!! So pumped for this release!! Been planning this collab for a long time, and I'm so happy to finally get to share it with you. Collab'ing with 2WEI is something that has been suggested by fans for years, and we were just waiting for the right time! We both do epic covers, and this was the first song that came to mind, and it wasn't even a question that we wanted to invite my long-time friend and collaborator Fleurie to be the vocal artist! She crushed it. They crushed it. It was super fun going back and forth with production and adding our own things. Phil Lober has a nice cinematic feel to his music! Film composer Joseph Trapanese would be cool as well, he had a project called "Archis" where he collaborated with a singer as well. Or the band Red, which also sometimes goes for the cinematic touch! :)

That bass sound is incredible, especially for the beginning. My headphones are focused on the mids, but even with that I actually felt the vibration from the speakers which is something I've not ever felt with these. Not sure if it's a lucky coincidence from how my headphones pick up sounds, but it's awesome

And yours just made that list. However, as much as I love your cinematic take on it, can we also have a version of this where it's just Fleurie's hauntingly beautiful voice and the instrumental aspects. Okay, I’m a big fan of Tommy and I liked this song from the first time I heard it but today I’ve watched new episode of Legacies and I was like “no waaayyyy” because at the end of the episode where Mikaelsons have returned which already making this episode epic, I’ve heard this song.
