New subscriber. My wife is from PJ. We currently live in the States. Hope to visit Langkawai during the Summer. Of the three hotels you reviewed there (The Westin; the Regis; and the Ritz-Carlton), which would you recommend? Appreciate your feedback.
I kind of like The Ritz as it feels like I am in a secluded forest and private beach. The associates are impeccable and the rooms are huge. I would probably take the private villa the next round. Breakfast was awesome. Second would be Westin for the gigantic suites and huge resort. Westin is very dated but lots of activities. It is value for money. St Regis Langkawi has the same investor as Westin in Langkawi thus they are connected and can cross sign. Both suite stays include complimentary airport lounge access to their private lounge irregardless of what airline you are flying. Ritz does not have an airport lounge. They are overstreched on butler service during my stay. I have a Playlist of Langkawi for a nice getaway. Look out for packages inside the Marriott Bonvoy website. The Ritz packages have better value. Enjoy the vacay and if yoy are in KL just message me on email or IG. Cheers!
