Since the animated Season 1 has pretty much caught up with the original manga series, Season 2 will not be completed until the year after next. We look forward to waiting!
Kafka dominated the fight without even breaking a sweat. The only reason Shinomiya escaped is Kafka's willpower prevailing over the kaiju's savagery. As cool as the fight was, the best part of this episode was by far the discussion between Shinomiya and Kafka, the latter striving to be aknowledged as an officer by everyone, including Shinomiya himself. It’s just my luck that I first watch and binge through the series on the day the season finale is released. This show is so amazing I might actually get the manga.
