FILM DESCRIPTION:
His heart recently broken, plastic surgeon Danny Maccabee (Adam Sandler) pretends to be married so he can enjoy future dates with no strings attached. His web of lies works, but when he meets Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) -- the gal of his dreams -- she resists involvement. Instead of coming clean, Danny enlists Katherine (Jennifer Aniston), his assistant, to pose as his soon-to-be-ex-wife. Instead of solving Danny's problems, the lies create more trouble.

"I found it on the street" "I'm holding it for a friend" I like movies where a deception gets more and more complicated and needs more and more crazy lies to cover the first lie, but not when every time there's another lie I'm sitting in the theater thinking, "You know, you coulda just said..."
hell, he could have told a half truth. "i was engaged to be married, but on the day of the wedding i called it off when i found out my fiance was cheating on me and was only marrying me for the money. i keep the ring as a reminder to myself to be careful."

Speaking as a man who has lost my wife I now wear my wedding ring on a chain around my neck, & that's where it is going to stay for the rest of my life even if I eventually get remarried. Don't know if someone would be stupid enough to believe a widower would just carry it around in their pocket though lol.

I understand they had to come up with a reason for the plot of the movie, but not only could he have just said something like it was his late wife’s - or he’s the best man for a wedding - later, he could also said the kids were his step kids... lazy writing all around.

My sister married a man who is definitely her inferior in looks and physique. If they are in love, they're in love. Looks don't actually make that much of a difference.
Believe it or not, ugly people and beautiful people get together all the time. Look at the couples you see out in public. Do you think they're together purely for resource/endowment reasons? People meet, people connect. I know it may seem like fantasy with your overzealous view of a society built on wealth and social status, but it happens, and more often than most people think.
Meh, both by exes weren’t conventionally good-looking, but they were funny, successful, brilliant, inspiring, passionate, and badass human beings. I still love them both.

It's his when he was gonna get married but overheard the conversation his bride was having with her friends how she doesn't love him and was cheating on him just the day before so walked away from the wedding and went to the bar wearing his wedding ring and he got hit on by a woman and he told her his marriage "sob" story and then she slept with him. So he came up with the whole I'm marrie but I'm not happy bc she is either a beater, a eater or a cheater. So yeah i hope i did it justice.
