@@SpikeTheWolf He made a kickstarter campaign for a game called Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes. Pretty much a spiritual successor to Suikoden. Game was released earlier this year but he passed away a month or 2 before it got released. So go and buy the game!

One of the top RPG franchises that was kicked to the curb by Konami. Definitely worth a play for real rpg fans. I hope you younger people appreciate them as much as us older gamers do. S2 is an absolute masterpiece. S1 is great also, but S2 is just perfection.

Suikoden 2 is the most criminally underrated JRPG, dare I say video game of all time.. No other game has ever touched me and drawn me emotionally like this one. Even FF7.... To this day, I still hate Luca Blight with all my soul...an absolute madman and sociopath whom I celebrated the kill with great satisfaction...
Since it has a lot of months until the release maybe you should consider these changes S1 - 3 rune slot availability S1 - Flik and Victor should not be permanently fixed in the party in Final Battle. S1 & S2 - smooth sprite version same with the HD fixed background. or have an option to smooth the character sprite S1 & S2 - party members are too close to each other. Since it is widescreen format maybe spread out or adjust a bit. S2 - Millie - GroundHog and Shin - Spider Slay. One-time use-only runes should be corrected/fixed and can be used throughout the battle. I really like using Bonaparte to the enemies hehe.
A couple of the screens look a bit too cellphone port (The inside of the house, the one on one battle), but a lot of the screens look fantastic as well. Overall, very much looking forward to this.
Never played it. So ill end up picking it up on ps5. I hear theres tons of people to choose from for your party so thats cool. Glad it got a release date.
I bought Eiyuden Chronicles and haven't even gotten around to playing it as I'm still finishing FFVII Rebirth. But I'll definitely pick this one up for the nostalgia. I loved Suikoden II so much!
I was worries when Konami prolonged. Eiyuden Chronicles was promising but I kid you not hearing the music and seeing everyone so happy is bring tears to my eyes. Cant wait to play it all over again
Simply 2 of the greatest RPGs ever made.. this is the kind of remaster I can back! If these sell well who knows what might happen 😀 but these two games are more than enough for now! Can't wait
S2...one of the best if not the best RPG of all time. Hands down. Though i'm against milking the old titles, this is great so new generations can enjoy the best classics in their own time.
I cant wait to replay this game that got me deeper into rpg games. Still, waiting for Beyond the Beyond, which made me love rpg, ❤️release someday . Day one, buy and play . Nothing will exist, but this game till finish. Love the music too
