Hey, the way I see it, you get to play at least one more game of S+D. (See also, me, never getting a run where I get the opportunity to get 12 items to unlock loot mode and abandoning hope at level 20. :))
I mean, if the achievement requires you to NEVER use any items, you'd already have lost the run at the 5 minute mark by equipping the reagents. Personally, i'd love to see you try to beat it on easy WITHOUT any items EVER!
I just realized... i can't find a *single* video on youtube about this game's Raid mode! Reto, you *have* to be the chosen one who shows us the legendary campaign of thrilling dice battles on an epic scale!
Doing this run, mainly the end boss without items will i think always be difficult. The dragon is a damage check, can you kill it before it kills you. And the demon is a survival check, can you live taking your own damage. Both of which you can’t prep for because you don’t have items.
I *think* I unlocked Raid by just having no items equipped on the final. I also did it with a 4x blue custom party easy since that makes a lot of blessings more powerful.
Btw, I don't know if this is reccorded in advance but there has been a patch with quality of life (like autolock wait dies and an option to let enemies flee automatically) and balance changes like the wizard getting buffed
I read in a comment of an early vide that beating this without items unlocks raid mode - and i'd LOVE to see it, I wonder if you can combine RAID and RANDOM?
I personally really like playing Easy mode. The fights don't change, but you do get a potentially really interesting bonus at the start. I had a few runs now where I started with a blessing that gave +2 Item Quality, so I was getting higher tier items faster, which is really cool, it also means you get to see item types you normally wouldn't. Another is also just +1 Item Slot and +1 Item Quality, which is so good for busting builds wide open. I never feel guilty playing on Easy, because it's really not that different from Normal. I still don't win all the runs, but then again, my rolls are really bad most of the time.
To be clear, before anyone says it, yes I saw it too...
Crushing isn't it
It's all good man no one can play perfectly every day
it's so sad 😭
I like how sense the scoundrel is so inconsistent at attacking, that when you rolled it, ya just ignored it like a finally they can do something

the Ludus and the Gambler does that, I haven't seen it on others

Still enjoying the series, was so heart broken you missed lethal on the dragon with crush instead of burst.
Not sure have anyone tested before, but I wanna ask does cleanse cures "burnout"(forgot the specific words, basically you can't act next turn)
The word I was finding was exert
