The quality in this level rivals nos astra. It is evident that the creator or creators emitted a lot of effort to this map but my only complaint on this map is that you stand still for too long. I believe good levels should have a continuous flow in them because well, the player is running away from a flood and it will feel more intense. Stopping just breaks that flow.
That is a thing we have thought about, but the reason why you wait on the train a lot is so that you can enjoy the scenery of the map. Thank you for the feedback though!
Also just a quick follow up, I also think that adding obstacles on the break parts could also be enough to nudge the map up to an extreme, and in the map comps, that is not ideal.
@@link_cable101 I apologize for being unclear. Standing in the train is absolutely fine. I think it would be unenjoyable to add obstacles on the train and besides, the player is technically moving since they’re on a moving train. What I was specifically talking about is 2:05 . At that part the player has to wait around 6 seconds for the door to open. I know that the time could vary on the speed of the player, but assuming that you were going at a normal pace, I feel like that wait should be shortened down a bit. Yes, I know adding another obstacle section to that wait would change the map and take a long time to build and what makes it very limiting is that this level is for a competition that’s nearly ending . It may also increase the difficulty of the level to extreme. I feel that that part needs a bit of change. If the new part does make the level harder than intended the maybe nerf jumps throughout the level. But this does not change the fact that I hope your map wins the competition, good luck.
this should be the new nos astra tbh this is like the revamped version of the nos astra subway station, also i tried to load in ur map but it said "temp read failed" u know how to fix that?
