I really enjoyed this. It was bizarre and creative. Thanks so much for podting it.
This appears to be a reel with multiple Fables scrambled all over the place. "A DAY OFF," "IN THE BAG," and another late entry I haven't identified yet.
These cartoons are "A Day Off" (1928, directed by John Foster), "In the Bag" (1928, directed by Jerry Shields) and *"A Midsummer's Day Dream" (1929, directed by Harry Bailey or Mannie Davis) .*
This print is a set of 3 fables, "A Day Off" (1928, directed by John Foster), "In the Bag" (1928, directed by Jerry Shields) and "A Midsummer's Day Dream" (1929, directed by Harry Bailey or Mannie Davis).
Thank you
@@farmeralfalfa You're welcome.
why are they all combined?
Also, the original moral is: “A rolling stone gathers no moss, but it gets a lot of polish.”
What comes after 6:56 is the reason to watch this.
1:19 Kids will love it. 😆
This is good! LOL!
a day off 100 years ago > a day off now
At least they knew how to have fun.
I really like the original music I remember from when these were on TV in the early '60s. I don't like the ones with doctored music.
I remember them from the 1960-1965 period, then they got pulled off the air.
