I have two of your pens that I love, I really had no idea how they were made. This was fascinating to me. Thanks for sharing your art and talent with all of us!
This one will be up for auction this weekend on my group facebook.com/groups/2018213188295301/?ref=share and you can order from me by contacting me on Facebook m.facebook.com/lassenlatheworks/

Yes I do I soak in acetone then rinse with alcohol and it does I get my honey comb from zac at nvwoodwerks and it works better than most. The worst chip out I get is when doing the mass produced honey comb. This one worked out great.
@@lassenlatheworks3004 ok awesome! I thought I saw a post on the FB group that said you weren't doing honeycomb any longer and it's a shame because they are so beautiful! But losing money on them is no good!
Wow.... very nice.... my first time watching.
Love watching how you make these. The pen came out beautiful!!!
Your tip at the end 🤯 that pen is gorgeous. I love watching your videos ❤

Hi Dan! Curious if you soak the honeycomb in some acetone before casting? That may help with the chipping.
