Yes, but no, in my tests the light adin (life steal) can't one shot Hwayoung because if you have her too bruiser the adin can't do enough damage, if you use the adin with the pure nuke destruction build I believe you can or can make her very low, but yes adin is a good pick against Hwayoung because of the invincibility for the team giving you an extra turn to play and protect your team.
I played a few matches with hwayoung on ban protection, some of them picked adine and destroyed me. But because my hwa is only 13k Hp. If you build her mega tanky counter like some people are doing, adin will tickle her
I don't like using meta units but rather units that counter meta. And she counters many things. Cleave with her passive S3, debuffs with her passive and light units which there are so many that are not only meta rn but also strong in general. Also she gets a lot of def with her atk which makes her survive more, unless the enemy unit ignores def ofc. So she looks very appealing to me. I'll still wait couple more days but I might use my pity on her. Also I have 50 galaxy coins so I can always pick up a meta unit there. Regarding Ameru she for some reason doesn't amaze me like I don't feel the urge to build her to the point that I don't even feel like SSSing her and just getting more galaxy bms. And Eligos looks really strong but sadly I don't have him. Also did you plan on using Silverblade Aramintha? I'll probably build her today, she's very strong now and looks fun to me.
@@Zamer27you'd be surprised to see how fast she dies even with that bulk. Also it's not like this unit needs that much bulk since she's another cleave/Aggro unit, unlike some people says she's good against cleave, she's trash against cleave, all she do is sit there and dies.

Without being protected by Elynav, she dies to a single BSenya s3 or Jenua s3, and she is left with only a sliver of health being hit by YSenya s2, Amiki s3, or Amiki double s1. She also gets very little survivability from a lot of the commonly used survivability boosters. She can't get barrier, can't get damage limit, can't get defense buff, she can't get indomitable, can't get vigor, can't get regen from YSenya s3. Her buff immunity is way more detrimental than you might think. And in general, defense is useless if you don't have the HP to eat the damage.
I feel like shes gonna be really annoying on defenses... Put her behind Ml Senya with stuff like Ml Haste (to further punish people who focus her) or stealth to force people to hit her/Senya.
Instead of sigrid scythe I would say golden rose. The atack increase doesn't check for hwas passive so straight up dmg increase will always be better. If artifacts check atk befor the fight starts then yeah. But that is not the case.

No, she's not a well designed unit, She's way too stat hungry. it's bad on their part to assume that anyone can satisfy her gear requirements to have a functioning unit. She needs as much as possible of 5 different stats, neglect one of those in building and she's usless. She works for you becouse you are part of the 1% that has the gear to make her work
I agree she's stat hungry but I think once the hype dies down, she kind of operates like a LQC but for light units but immune to debuffs and good vs aggro/control so running 85cc not too shabby imo

It isn't okay for this character to be dogwater, you have several ML5s, but this could be someone's first. They get this character because you have video titles like this and then they sit here with a useless character. Another only useable in pvp, 4th/5th pick character. Hellion Lua had a more oppressive kit from the beginning, but its cool she gets buffed.

She can't receive shields/buffs in general, so not really good with ml senya
