There are many entry level flute making videos for free. I got into it some years back because it’s the only way I can afford a quiver of flutes, and to make it and play it is especial. Every flute has its own voice and so its own story to tell.
Tips would depend on if you already know some circular breathing or nothing at all. The basics are the same as you would do on a didgeridoo, the only problem with this technique is that it is too powerful to do on a flute, (unless the flute requires a lot of air.) On a flute it is a more subtle technique were I use my mouth and throat cavities as airchambers in stead of the cheeks. (this is in my experience, how I worked it out). If you don't have any experience with circular breathing there are allot of tutorial videos to be found here on TH-cam... And my top tip on this is just try and keep trying and practising. If you can give me some more detail on where you are in the learning of circular breathing maybe I can give better advice to you.
