- The Bucks played their first game in the post K Midd era and are 1-0 after defeating the Charlotte Hornets. Giannis was a late scratch but Dame was in full control throughout the night as the Bucks eased to 10 point W.

Fans are way too emotional on this. That mentality is the mentality that dooms good sport teams to never compete for titles. Teams that hang on to beloved players who are clearly past their prime and become an albatross around their neck in terms of money and lack of their career best production. The Bucks had zero chance to get through the East with this version of Khris Middleton. Zero. This move also frees up the potential other moves, which are also necessary to "win now". And we are fully and squarely in the "win now" window...

The Bucks are nolonger restricted under the second apron and picked a draft picks. Got 2 younger healthy taller players. Picked up a backup younger center. What's not to like? Unless you are living in the past about a player who can nolonger shine.
Now the question is, do we keep Portis and Brook? Nobody wants Pat C no matter how bad we want him gone. Pat will have to be part of a trade package.
I'm amused sick and tired of the Bucks hit or miss history when it comes to drafting players, it's very frustrating to watch? Instead of looking forward with optimism we have to watch with guarded dread.

Khris was what we need: 15-20 a game 5-6 rebounds and 5-6 assists with handling, ball movement, play making etc. you're under valuing Khris. It's tragic,

If we are keeping kuzma on this team, we are basically saying "so long Giannis!"
There is no question Giannis was consulted and okay with this move. Plus Giannis was the architect behind bringing Dame and Griffin here... If you think Khris is the same player we had in 2021 or even last year in the Playoffs, you are assessing things with your emotions rather than the product on the floor. His ankles are cooked. That alone has dropped him from "elite" status. He is old, slow and wildly inconsistent. Know when that will be highly detrimental? Trying to win 7 game series to get through the East... Also especially versus teams that are much younger on average and especially when this team was built to win now, not 5 years from now, but now...
@ giannis was not the architect. All reports from any reliable sources have stated giannis was NOT informed or "in charge" of front office decisions. I hate that idiots want to try to act like giannis plays gm. He doesn't. I've followed the bucks religiously for 15 years.
How, of course giannis and khris and the whole team knew khris was being shopped because it was put out to the world and they played terribly ever since. So yeah, they had time to mentally process it.
Khris getting traded makes sad but logical sense IF his injuries really aren't recoverable from. But doing it midseason for garbage does NOT make sense.
@ bucks lost IQ and made marginal theoretical gains in athleticism. Kuzma hasn't looked athletic. Hes looked like complete trash. So I don't even wanna hear athleticism is a gain here
