Just got my Osmo Mobile 2 and I am looking forward to using it very soon!
DJI Support I just bought one for my new iPhone XR and it keeps moving?? Rocking forward and can’t find balance. Do I need to charge before mounting? Does that matter or should it have stability regardless.?

The addition of the 1/4" standard screw mount is a great addition!
At the cost of the side mount which allowed you to build a rig to hold a mic & flashlight...no it's not.

The one that I bought certainly does not last for hours, after only 1 hour the battery is already empty. otherwise it works well, but, Actually you can do everything by hand and a good smartphone, or you would have to film constantly while walking, and then still, needed?

I just bought a brand new Dji OSMO stabilizer for my I-phoneX. Its fully charged and I downloaded the GO PRO app which I was connected. I just can seem to figure out how to get my IphoneX to balance the proper way even after watching about 10 TH-cam tutorials. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I recently purchased such a toy. Please help me to avoid the problem. When I hold the phone in portrait format it does not stay that way when I move the handle to the left or right. (the phone also turns, as if you were holding it in the palm of your hand) but when the handle is facing me or in the back it stays in the desired format, ie portrait. Please help me. Thank you.
Salut, de curând am achizitionat o astfel de jucărie. Te rog ajuta-ma la o omida problema.. Când țin telefonul in format portret nu rămâne așa in momentul când mișc mânerul Spre stânga sau dreapta. (se întoarce și telefonul, ca și cum l-ai tine normal in palma) dar când mânerul dau spre mine sau in spate rămâne in formatul dorit adică portret. Te rog ajuta-ma. Multumesc.

why my iphone 7 plus getting hot when using dji osmo mobile 2 with dji go app? is there any solution?
How do I change my camera resulostion when using the app? I can't change to 1080p. Only stuck on 720p
Hi Micheal, when recording video, video resolution is set at 720p in DJI GO by default. You can change video resolution in the DJI GO app, route: settings>camera>video resolution. However, the maximum video resolution depends on your phone’s camera.

Hi i just got the gimbal few days back and is on the learning curve one typical problem i am facing is the mobile mounted on gombal stays a bit on left side always even when i have balanced and calibrated the device (i use s10 plus along with compact back cover).also i need step by step tutorials to use the gimbal.Thanks and regards . Hi. Why I cannot watch the motion timelapse on my iMac after transfering the mp4 file from my Note8? The video plays just fine on my Samsung Note 8 but the same file/video plays a black screen on my iMac. What should I do in order to be able to watch the motion timelapses recorded with Dji Osmo Mobile 2+Note 8? thank you in advance

What if i want to rotate around my subject or do an orbit? Does the gimbal cannot be fix in one direction?
Hello RAN Solo, you may try in Free mode, in Free mode, the mobile device will stay in its current position regardless the movement, you may check out page 8 on the manual dl.djicdn.com/downloads/Osmo+Mobile+2/20181107/Osmo_Mobile_2_User_Manual_EN.pdf. See if this meets your need.
Will the osmo mobile 2 be able to hold the iPhone 8 Plus?

Does it work ok when using phone with internal OIS? I know that iphones on gimbals are not ok. My phone is galaxy note4 with OIS, but I don't know if it can turn its OIS off when detecting being mounted on tripod or gimbal. Any information about this issue?
Hi, Alien. The OIS problem may come with Iphone 7 or plus series. In this situation, we would recommend users hold your osmo stably and walk Ninja steps to relieve the problem. Thanks for your attention.
WoodooAlien I used mine for the first time with my iPhone 7 Plus yesterday. From what I can tell, all the slow motion video seems to drop frames every now and then and stutter. At normal speed, it *seems* OK, but I haven’t had a GOOD/CLOSE look at the video yet.

Zinon, Osmo Mobile 2 supports smartphones 58.6-84.8 mm wide and up to 8.4 mm thick. This covers most phones currently available, from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 6s Plus and Android phones of similar size. We would not recommend users attach other accessories on their phones because it might affect the performance. Thanks for your attention.

Hi Mariano, Samsung J1 ACE is not on the support list, but it doesn't mean that it can't compatible with the Osmo Mobile 2. Technically, the width of compatible phones is 58.6 - 85 mm and the thickness should be ≤8.9mm. Hope others who use this device can provide you with some info.
The official dimensions for J1 Ace are 130.1 x 67.6 x 9.5 mm- What do you think?

You could try the RØDE VideoMic Me, but I don't know about the balance
You have to get some sort of L camera mount now I guess. I don't like it either but right now it's the only way to use a microphone that you attach to a mount instead to the frame of your phone. Something like this: th-cam.com/video/q2UomuHgVKs/w-d-xo.html
I have oneplus6, how do I do slow motion? I don't see a 60fps option.

How do I turn on the Flash in camera mode?
Flash can be turned on in Camera Settings, the last one below the Grid.
For the OSMO Mobile 2+ or Version 3, please add a micro SD slot. For iPhone Users with low Storage capacity, a micro sd slot for 128 GB cards, would be awesome. But it’s a very nice product. You’re a Great! ;)

Do not be fooled by their ads. They promote Appla. There is not much to do on the android. Zoom almost does not work. Increase bad and slow traffic on Android, forget about it! You can not switch the camera from the video on the gimbal. A cheaper version of another company works better.

This new version is a complete piece of crap. It's more susceptible to jitter because it's lighter, the controls make no sense, & they got rid of the mounting screw on the side because you could build a whole rig around that before. It's just an attempt to sell more units than the last model. Their target market is easy to fool because most folks who want to film on their phones don't know what the hell they're doing anyways. The price cut IS NOT worth it.

once it has been paired for the first time, how quickly can the Osmo be powered up and connected to the phone ready to shoot? assuming the phone doesn't slow the process down.
If the Osmo Mobile 2 didn't connect to other mobile device, it will enter the image transmission directly when you click 'connect your device'.
