How do you get to Venice from the airport? Do you take the bus, water bus or water taxi? What’s the fastest way to get there? What is the cheapest? Which way is the most spectacular? These and other questions will be answered.

If you can afford it, I heartily recommend you take a private water taxi. (About 150 euros these days) You can grab one right outside the airport -- you will see them there waiting. Tell them where you want to go and get a price from them before boarding.
    (1) You won't have to walk far from the airport exit with your luggage to get there.
    (2) Your first impression of Venice will be as it should be -- as it has been for generations and generations of visitors. DON"T underestimate the value of this -- Venice (more than any city in the world) is itself a work of art. A constantly surprising interplay of bright sunlight, dimly lit cool alleyways meandering between historic buildings, and tiny little canals of water leading you to places where you cannot go on foot. To know Venice you must walk and boat through it for hours and hours -- so you might as well start as soon as you leave the airport.
    (3) If your hotel has a canal entrance the water taxi will bring you right to the door saving you any walking with luggage at the end.
Plus...you get to arrive in style as this is the Venice equivalent of taking a limo. 😎

For how many people? Is it per person?

@@bbbb1023 For the boat. Depending on how much luggage you got, you can fit 4-6 people.

Venice is great except for the rude airport security personnels. Especially towards Asians. Maybe they should train them better. I spent thousands there to be treated like a dog.
