OneParticleCharged the leaders of the Seminoles have actually given their blessings and permissions to FSU so that they can use Osceola and his portrayals.

noel cruz The Seminole Tribe of Florida, known to be shrewd business men and women, give their blessings to FSU. The Seminole Tribe of Oklahoma consider much of what FSU does disgusting and a minstrel show. Is that Chief Osceola white???

Pretty awesome! My school just has a cuddly Elephant. Our logo used to be a badass one though.

OnePartcile, you only show your ignorance, dude. The Seminole nation has not only fully endorsed Florida State's use of Chief Osceola, their representatives attend a game every season and take part on the spear planting tradition along side our version of Chief Osceola. You might want to take the rose colored glasses off, put them right next to the incredibly stupid assumptions you make, and do a little research before you open your mouth.

So, not one single adult among the whole lot of u, pondered, even 4 a second, how it might feel 2 Native people 2 be characterized? Seriously? No one said, "Hey, wait a minute, it's not a mythical creature we're dealing with here...nor is it a culture (say, the Vikings), which is long relegated 2 history...It's a nation of people still here. U are making a parody of a living people & culture. THEY'RE STILL HERE PEOPLE & somehow u are morally void enough 2 give that exactly zero consideration.
