Awesome overview Charlie!!!! Hopefully I'll be able to do a similar review on the Artemis in 2022

This was a very different and very useful review, thank you! I am more interested in the gun as such and the quality of it than watching people shooting for most of the video (I prefer spending the time shooting myself :-) )

Do you know if the cracking area has been addressed on newer models?

Yes it has. This gun that cracked was built on a Phoenix Trinity frame which Atlas was using before they started making their own frames. Atlas has been making their own frames for several years now and this portion that cracked is beefed up a lot more.

Is that a major or a minor gun? I checked all the major guns I had close by, 5 STI, one HPS. All but one had a similar crack starting like yours has. Not all the way through though. No such issues with any minor 2011 I have seen... Thanks for a great video!

This Titan is chambered in 40 Caliber and has had Major Power Factor shot through it the whole time. Like I said in the video, every single 2011 based pistol I have ever owned to this point will eventually start a crack in that same location of the frame. This is the first one which the crack has gone all the way through the frame. This is also the first pistol I have owned that has lasted 100K so maybe they all would crack all the way through at that round count? The new design Atlas frames are beefed up a lot more in that area of the frame, so it may not happen on those ones.

What annoying thoughts about that when you know that every shot could make your gun crack on where you know it's gonna crack

What do you use to touch up your sear and hammer?

I use the Marvel Sear & Hammer jig with the appropriate stones. You can find this jig on Brownells at www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/handgun-tools/trigger-tools/marvel-sear-hammer-jig-sku080823000-920-3414.aspx
