That’s dope. I’m hoping that hasbro will give us an official repaint for the figure. The 20 year anniversary for Spider-Man 3 is in just a few years after all
The only advice I’d give is when you dye or paint anything plastic or leather you should always rub off factory finish with alcohol or acetone and the any painted parts it’s best to strip the paint off then it’ll fully dye especially if you planned to paint the lines after
And then they release the black suit next year lol i usuall don't buy 3 figures but for my favorite spider man Toby i have to...so i can have one in box, other one lose and the last one paint it black ( if they never release a black version)
Exactly man I did the same I got 3 Tobey’s now haha. And man if they make an official black suit next year I wouldn’t be mad lol. My Batmobile custom, McFarlane comes out with the official matte black 89 version few months later My pinless Deadpool custom, Marvel Legends releases a new pinless Deadpool few months later 🤧🤣🤣
Bravo 👏 your step up is phenomenal. Glad you enjoyed it and felt the process was rewarding in the end. Next time let's us know if more heat and die is the way forward. Great episode. That's what you call levelling up. Great finish. I've been slowly r&d my own custom shaped plastic dome for the last 6 months. Slow ting. Next I'm trying clay, then heating plastic over it. I've got like 20 different plastics to try and get lucky. Land mark episode. You got cracking 👏
@@Collect2DisconnectI read the very helpful comments. Yes spidey episodes do well because everyone loves spidey. So if you used acetone to remove paint it would be quicker. If you used a gumdam pen it would be quicker. If you got a large pot and did 10 spideys in one go it would be quicker. Set up those ten spideys on your counter and it's your first OG Guac Customs production line. Charge $50, that's $500 for days work. I added a little inspiration in there! Peace bro, glad to see this episode blowing up
So sorry completely forgot to respond! I gave it a matte clear coat after I posted the video figure still looks the same as when I dyed it ! When different parts of the body didn’t take well to the dye at first I assumed different plastics were used for it. ABS plastics or even thicker plastics. For sure would have work way better if I took the whole figure apart !
Bully Maguire
On the way to put some dirt in someone’s eye

Thanks for the tip that torso took forever to dye stripping the paint would sped up the process for sure
This is one of the best customs i’ve ever seen. Actually a legendary figure you made, keep it up!
Haha thanks 🙏
Amazing!! Great job! It looks fantastic! And what a great idea for a custom! Congrats!
Mucho Gracias Señor Kenobi! Glad you enjoyed it !
Bought an extra Tobey just for this so this is great to see!
Yessir! Don’t know if legends would do a proper black suit anytime soon but until the 20 year anniversary of Spider-Man 3 I’ll be good ! 👍🏼
Tobey all the way!!!🕷️🕸️
That’s why he’s the GOAT 🐐
Bro this custom absolutely came out GREAT!!! 🙌🏻🔥🙌🏻🔥
Thanks brother definitely a rewarding custom ✅
God _DAMN_ dude, this is clean. You deserve the staff job (double the money).
1100 people getting fired from hasbro I think I have a good shot at that staff job LOL

@@Spinozinwith those added tips it probably would be more convenient and I would consider selling them
That is awesome I’m gonna attempt this but I’m not gonna paint the web lines I don’t have a steady hand lol
Haha someone mentioned to use a chrome pen I think even a silver sharpie would do good I just wasn’t thinking at the time
That looks really cool!
silver gundum paint pen for webs and eyes
Damn that probably woulda been way easier
Want to do this. I think I'll use a molotow pen for the webs though
Yup didn’t even think of that woulda been way easier lol
Nice 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
BROO GETTING CLOSE TO THAT 1000 SUBS!! LETS GO!!!
2024 is the year !!
I saw someone else do this and the red and blues started to show through after a few days, how is yours still holding up? Really wanting to do this
Looks the same I did end up applying a matte clear spray top coat though scared the silver webbing was gonna end up rubbing off
Maybe you should’ve taken all the joints apart? 🤷🏽♂️
If I did the custom properly it wouldn’t be a “half-ass custom” now would it 🤣
@@Collect2Disconnect guess not 😂
Gotdamn the views and likes on this Fem Ayo I might have to do this soon.
Spider-Man fans are crazy bro always guarnteed clicks haha do it bro it was easy just took time
Well done man! How much for one? 🔥
Haha for 5+ hours of work I wouldn’t even know where to begin price wise 🤣💯
And why after dry the color gets off?
After it dries from dyeing ? Or after the silver paint dries ?
@@Collect2Disconnect I mean the rit dye. After drying color gets super lighter after some days.
@@Collect2Disconnect I see you don't have interest in helping me
