    Thank you for the video, which I listened to with much interest. I just started in an ER registrar job, and this helps me understand insurances. I would love to hear more about it, it is so challenging to me as a new registrar, but I am sure my hands-on training will help me along. Thanks again!

    I'm new to eligibility and I am so confused on how to determine if we are in network with a patient's insurance. We are in network with wellmed and bcbs but not all, and I'm so confused how to check

      Thanks for your comment! I understand how confusing it can be. I would suggest looking up the practice on the insurance online directly and saving the list of plans or you can request a list form the insurance company contracting/credentialing department. However, if you end up calling the insurance company you can certainly ask the representative to check by providing the treating providers NPI #.

      The video was done with a couple of decades of expertise and a tremendous amount of details sprinkled throughout. We do like to provide the community with the details needed to implement and perform the job. But I agree, sometimes less is more when the information is brand new. I will work on a quicker, more watered-down version.

      I found the information to be on point. I do verifications for several clinics and I do use all the resources mentioned.
