This story/show was written in 2009 and rejected by studios for 10 years.. now it’s the biggest show in the world… if that’s not a sign to never give up than idk what is.
That really reminds me of Walt Disney's efforts to get his works published too. In the end he said "fuck it I'll start my own studio" and we all know how that went.

There are so many hidden meanings from costume to BGM.
For instance, their waking up music is widely used as a class start alarm of Korean schools.
This show blew up so much because most people don't watch South Korean stuff, it is great, it really is but this level of character development, hard hitting subjects and great acting is pretty common in South Korean stuff. Honestly there is so many great films and TV shows coming out of South Korea and has been for over 10 years.
This is the best Korean Drama I've seen-- the team behind it deserve awards!!
I binged this show the first day it was out on Netflix. When I got home from work this was in my recommended pile and I sort of just let it go out of curiosity and didn't get to bed until 3AM. lol
Number 1 is most likely the only one actually having fun because he truly has no idea how long he has left, so he truly doesn't care if he dies.

This show is a slow burn but it’s so good! My gf was watching stuff on tik tok and I saw a clip from the show that spoiled the fact it was a Saw type thing so the “eliminations” didn’t shock me as much but there’s nothing that can prepare you for the suspense of this show. The way the music stops and everything just goes dead silent as Ali holds Gi-Hun is so fucken intense. This show is such a roller coaster of emotions so you better buckle up

When I started watching this show, for the first 15 or so minutes, I was thinking it's ok, but I probably won't watch more than the first episode. Hehe, that had changed by the end of the episode. Korean cinema is particularly good in the dystopian and horror genres - if you want a great zombie film for the month of October, try Train to Busan.
