Ive been sitting on these for a while to let them macerate to make a dedicated review. But I think it is time I address them. So here goes.

I just purchased Yara in the pink bottle yesterday and waiting for it to be shipped. I wish I had viewed this video first before I purchased it, maybe I would not have purchased this fragrance. Hopefully I may like it on my skin, otherwise this perfume will be regifted or just sit on the shelf. 😞 BTW, listening to your soft speaking voice reminds me of the actress “Mary Billie Burke” who played “Glinda” the good witch of the North from The Wizard Of Oz. You have a very pleasant speaking voice.
Oh nooooo. Did you receive it yet? What did you think about Yara? I hope you get a good batch and enjoy it! I just looked up the actress and I definitely do see the vocal resemblance, although her accent is sooooooo good. Im in love ❤❤❤
I totally agree with you I found a perfume just like yara but with more projection and long lasting the name is Norah passion from the adyan arabic house

Simin, I also get coconut in Yara! Zero strawberry 🍓. I *only* get coconut on the Sample I bought. Which, ironically, is why I bought it - waiting on my order from Germany now. I sometimes buy perfumes purely for their layering abilities (think Choco Musk- Al Rehab, Paris Corner Pendora - Boozy Cherry, Kim Kardashian - Pure Honey ) because they turn other perfumes into a new scent or better scent. I think it'll add sth to some of my summer perfumes. I like coconut in summer, but not enough to buy multiple perfumes with it. This is a great solution. If you love coconut, but don't have the money to buy multiple perfumes, getting Yara for the coconut layering is also an option: just add it to everything 😅. Anyway...I do think it'll be a 'one buy- never again' though. I pulled the trigger this time because I could get it for under €25 and it's usually 30 bucks. But you're right: it isn't worth the hype. Unlike some other fragrances I sometimes see hyped (usually years after I've discovered it, but we must not fool ourselves into thinking that TikTokkers do it out of love and/ or knowledge for/of perfume...).

Would be lovely to see you do a Top 10 of your favourite summer fragrances. You could even do two videos. One with all Middle Eastern and the other with all designer/niche/celeb/Zara etc.
I have been slowly switching perfumes. Taking out my Ameer Al Oudh Intense oud and Club de Nuit Intense for Asdaaf Andaleeb and Lattafa Afaq for example (and many designer & Zara switches. If you can get Zara try Saffron & Orange Flowers, Hibiscus and Sublime Epoque. The latter is an Armani My Way dupe and one that has great performance. Addictive easy grab. The other two are originals, not dupes. The first one a Jo Malone juice and the Hibiscus from a Zara perfumer. Saffron is unisex, Hibiscus a tropical fruity feminine leaning one).
But I can't wait to pick up several of my summery Middle Eastern fragrances again. I'm more of a heavy perfume lover, so winter is my favourite season for that. But ever since I discovered that I dó like Rose and Peony a world has opened. In that case my Ard Al Zaafaran - Dirham Wardi is a winner! Such a lovely, elegant fresh Rose.
Besides AaZ, my most loved ME fragrances for summer all come from Lattafa or Lattafa subsidiaries. And 80% is recent too.
Btw, is Hamsah by Swiss Arabian a summer fragrance or not? I heard it's very close to Girl of now with the Almond. But that seems more gourmandish then, like at least Fall. I would hate to open it up and not be able to use it.

Yara> Right?! Yara is so coconut! Thats a great idea to use it up for layering. Because I would not even use it to bed otherwise. I will get your suggestions for layering perfumes like Kim's honey and Boozy Cherry. I wanna get these in oil forms. Lemme see if I can get my hands on them.
Yara Moi> I think its Viktor Rolf Bonbon. Now Moi is nice but I wanna see if it macerates and gets stronger. Even if macerates well, it is not good enough to be worn by itself for sure.

Ideas> It is a fantastic idea to make a top 10 Mideast summer frags. I do not have many new French one but I do wish to get some Zara's onboard.

So accurate. Asad is sooo nice and pleasant and manly. especially for the price point it’s pretty amazing. It was worth getting the trio. The other two are soft for sleep time
Asad has become on of my favorite men's perfume! It is stunning and the price is unbelievable for its quality. I use the Yara's for sleeping too. Moi is macerating right now ❤

Today I discovered a new one. So I have Stash by SJP and It was a tad bit too much for me. So I layered it with Sacred by Louis Cardin and OMG! What a banger! ❤️
I think you have to put Yara Moi on your skin, not your clothes. I pick up so much depth to it under the more fruity/floral top notes. It's actually got a little spice to it on my skin, which I guess is the sandalwood and the amber combining with my body chemistry. That's why people say it is sexy. It has the depth of a musk without the musky odor, because it amplifies a person's natural musk, that is unique to them. You know how you just love the way the sweat of some men smells to you? I was engaged to a man once (later married someone else) and I loved the smell of his sweat. He always said he loved mine too. It's not logical, but something just happens with pheromones and compatibility. This fragrances amplifies your natural attractiveness factor, so that people who jibe with you are more attracted to you, but probably it is quite unpleasant if someone just doesn't like your scent. Similarly, if you spray it on inanimate objects, you probably do get a contradictory jumble. It needs the human to bring it all together as one fragrance, unique to that person. This is why some people love it so much. It has definitely become an instant favorite of mine and I can't wait to see how it matures over the next few months before Summer, when it will really be the perfect season for it.

100% agree with your review. I let both Yaras macerate, but still don't like them... I'll give them away.
I stopped buying Lattafa. Here in Abu Dhabi I can't find shops to try them so most of them were blind buys.
My last purchase was La Fleur bouquet (Afnan). It's a great perfume!
Right?! Same here! I can only blind buy! And since Yara was so disappointing, it has made me vary of my blind buys! The new pride collection is better in performance for sure ❤

Good girl blush is much more sour/ sharp than Yara - Yara is far sweeter and creamier. Yara reminds me of a mix of Juicy Couture Gold and Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62. I agree, the projection isn't the best, but I like it for around the house.
That is exactly what I am using it for. It did macerate a little but still not enough power. So now it is my bedtime perfume ❤️

I totally agree with you. I tried both of the fragrances I do not like either one. Especially the one in the pink bottle just synthetic over sweet just terrible.

This review is pretty accurate but seriously guys i just got YARA today and let me tell you it's NOT WORTH ANY HYPE. All the rumours about it smelling like a strawberry milkshake or even gourmand is false. Trust me it's very floral and powdery. You won't get the slightest bit of sweetness or gourmandyness throughout. Does it smell bad? No, it's a soft feminine floral scent that's the best way i can describe it. And if you're from asia there's a 100% chance you've already smelled this before cause it's a VERY VERY common scent. (I kinda regret spending the amount cause i could have easily gotten it elsewhere at a much cheaper rate cause this literally smells identical to a lot of perfumes made by small local brands)

From yara by Lattafa I just get the vanilla and tropical fruits notes.
Whenever I wear Yara I always have people asking me what I wear, complimenting me about how good I smell, even strangers on the street approach me and telling me I smell amazing and I also love this perfume. And the Yara Moi on the other hand is a huge disappointment 😢 I got it and it smells like something is burnt. It makes me nauseous.
I bought the pink Yara for a girlfriend at a perfume shop in Bogota, Colombia. she loved it! Unfortunately summers here in Canada are way too short :)

Aussie actors have this sort of , I guess you could call it, easy going attitude which is something Aussie I think are known for. We say " She'll be right" meaning things will be OK even if everything looks chaotic 😂. Oh, I LOVE Travis Fimmel, those bright blue eyes, he has this intensity about him. You never know with his characters, he always draws you in even if he plays someone evil. I think he often moves like a cat, a large cat like a tiger or panther. I hear you loud and clear about Travis, I can never look away from the screen. He is one of the most amazing actors. Just watched him last week in a Gerard Butler movie , he was incredible. I don't know if it is coconut or almonds in yara or both but Lattafa's notes are wrong as usual. And I totally agree with you opinion, Yara is just... meh... Edit: so happy that I got a little tester and didn't blind buy.

Same. I don't get the strawberries on myself either. It's more of a soft floral powdery scent. I absolutely love it.
I don’t get the strawberry sweet tropical scent at all on Yara. I get a Smokey sharp over ripe fruit salad 😫 And I can’t smell it after 20 minutes 😢

Hello beautiful!i adore your videos as i have recently got into the middle eastern perfume vibe😊...i have blind-bought yara and it arrived this afternoon, after having seen your video. What a pitty :(...why anyone says it is a perfume for teenagers?even if when i was a teenager i wear Amarige by Givenchy...it has a lot of alcohol and seems synthetic. Hope it will "macerate" otherwise i will gift it to somebody!!by the way i bought in an airport a perfumed called Desert Rose by the house of Amjad, and i like it a lot but why anybody talks about it?many hugs from Italy❤

So many of my friends here in Dubai also love the Yara series. And I know for fact that it loved all over the world. Somehow, they are not for me. But thats ok ❤️ They are macerating, so maybe I need to wait.

I think the difference is putting it just on clothes vs on one's skin. The whole is more than the sum of the parts, and a person's natural chemistry it what brings that out.
Is there a UAE/Middle Eastern fragrance that features both tuberose and oudh??
I do not think there is a Oud perfume with dominant Tuberose. However Rasasi Qasamat Mohraf has both ingredient. Hope this helps hun

I bought yara and it smells of nail polish remover, acetone😭 I had to wash my arm and I got nausea😩 is it because it has to macerate? It arrived today and I’m SO disappointed😭 I have other lattafas and they smelled good immediately and I didn’t have to let them macerate
Hahaha you are asking the wrong person. I personally dont understand why Yara is so hyped. What a let down it was. Mine thankfully did not have that spirit smell. But for sure yours is not macerated babe ❤️ Just let it sit for a month or two.
I have the same feeling about the scent. It smells cheap and I can't understand why there is such a craze for these scents, they smell alcohol and disappear after 30 minutes
The fruit I get is pineapple and citrons… am I the only one who gets that… I don’t get any coconut or strawberry at all
Hahaha they really messed u with this perfume. Everyone has different experiences with it. I thought it would smell like Strawberry cheesecake and it is not that at all.

Yara is my least favorite Lattafa. It’s macerated for 3 months and it’s a cheap watery beach coconut scent. My top 3 Lattafa that have fully macerated: Nebras, Khamrah, Velvet Rose. Currently, Crafted Oud is macerating , and it’s already stunning. Bought a backup bottle !
Trust me, it is nearing the bottom for me too. I just despise musk fragrances even more lol. I will def try Velvet Rose and Crafted Oud in my next haul ❤

I like yara but the longevity is non existing. my clothes smell nice, they kind of keep the scent of it. but it's weak and really childish
