Still works and shadow raids. You don't need to press the battle button. Just the tab out and back in while pressing the "Join Raid" button

Google play rewards, do the surveys, save up to a dollar, buy pokecoins. Not much but it helps and 10-60 cents for 1-3 questions once or twice a day is nice. The rewards stay in ur account for 150 days as well

It's worth noting that this only works if the raid is literally no more than 20ft from the edge of your proximity ring. It won't work if you click a gym that's really far away.

It only works within a certain radius. You still have to be semi-close to the raid. Unfortunately doesn’t work from just anywhere

I tried it and it does work. I switched apps at the same time as I exited out of the buy passes option, and then clicked super fast. Didn't let me join though, it told me I had to be in range
UPDATE!!: People keep saying that it's telling them they have to get in range, gyms that are far away will have this message but gyms that are close-ish to you this will still work with. Also yes it still works they haven't patched it, I just did it again. You have to tap the button very fast upon re-opening pokemon go

U can add 10 ppl without backing off with this glitch, if remote option works or not

You can also turn off your location while on the gym screen then press the join raid button and reopen the location button
if your on a car as a passenger and you want to raid turn off you location all the way until the raid is over then quickly turn on the location before catching the pokemon so it let's you catch it

So the bug work you but you godda follow some step
1-the gym raid MUST be closer edge circle at least in order to work
2-open raid aether you have or don't have remote raid press X then quickly off location then press raid again then onec you see the Orange raid or Green dont enter quickly swipe back location on then enter it should let you in dont worry 4 time will make you believe but is not that strong radius it might be good for public sitting where alot gym nearby.

It still works if you tap on the battle button, switch to settings turn off location, switch back, and click the button that redirects you to settings, turn location back on, then boom. It is a bit buggy, and using it, it will also momentarily say -1 people in the lobby. It says lobby now found however, but if someone can find a way to fight in the raid with this method please tell me.

I can confirm if you click fast enough it works but you need a daily raid pass so for all the people saying it won’t work either your clicking to slow, lying, or didn’t check if you in fact had a daily raid pass - November 10th 2023

if you need a glitch to remote raid it says that niantic was very wrong about what they did with the remote raid pass and were stupid to nerf it.

I'm playing on Iphone and this works perfectly, you just have to tap fast enough.
This trick can be used to raid out of reach gyms ( too far to join normally but close enough to use this). Especially useful during raid hour for efficient pathing
It doesn’t work, it shows the local join button and an orange pass but tells me to walk closer and won’t let me join. I got the trick right but it just simply won’t let you do the raid.
Try the gyms closest to you. That's why it says walk closer for a reason. If it still doesn't work when you did the gyms closest to you, then you're probably too far.
Yeah the closer ones work but also I noticed that u can invite 10 ppl when u do this glitch. Idk if it is certain though.
You have to be close enough like on the gyms 2nd 80m range. So it doesn't work anywhere by now.

You have to be within a certain proximity in order for this to work, but it’s a game changer. I go from being able to raid at one gym at work to 5.
It is SO much easier to preform on android too.

This does not work if someone from your party is in... our leading theory is that because it sends you a raid invite, it supersedes whatever is allowing the glitch.
If you get knocked out and are too far away, you'll be kicked out of the raid. If you managed to get in, just stay where you are, you'll still be fine, just don't walk away.
Android works better, and you can just temporarily turn your location off instead of switching apps.
We also think some phone models can't do it. I can't do it with my wife's old phone (hers broke, so we're using it while it's being repaired), even though I can normally do it on her regular phone, and I can login on my phone and do it for her.
I have a regular raid hour group, and we start at 615, get the two we're on top of, let them reset at 630 and then do them again, and glitch into the other 3, without needing to move at all, it's great. (Assuming all raids end up being a raid hour raid, often it's less, but it's nice to be able to do up to 7 without needing to move)
I can confirm this still works as of today. It only works for me if you are CLOSE to the gym! If you are at the borderline between it being local and remote raid then walk away about 30-50 feet and thats the range where this would be close enough...and it seems to work on shadow raids also but you still have to be close enough... this is a very situational glitch and I can confirm you can invite pple with this...I did 2 free raids like this today and got a 96 Tapu Koko and a perfect costumed pikachu

Btw guys it still works with regular raids and not rocket raids that are not compatible with remote passes in the first place.
Looks to be fixed. Any that are too far away it won't let me even select "battle" without a remote raid pass already purchased. Any within in 2 mins walking distance it goes to apply the daily battle pass, then says I am too far away and cancels.

Still works, but requires precise timing and the gym must not be too far or else it will kick you out for too far when you start the raid.

From my experience it only works if you’re already kind of close to the raid, so it’s not really that useful. It doesn’t seem to work for friend invites. Also if you start but leave your original spot it will automatically disconnect so, yeah it’s useful for a few scenarios but not groundbreaking.

For me it kind of works but you have to be really fast like pre tapping the battle button but even then all it says is walk closer to the gym. I THINK ITS PATCHED
EDIT: it does work but you have to be somewhat close. If you are like a mile away or something then it won’t work.
This still works guys. Just make sure you’re sort of near the gym. Can’t do gyms that are really far away.

This works! I just tried it! The stop is down the street, but it was too far away... The normal Raid pass popped up for me. THIS IS STILL A GAME CHANGER!!!!!!!!!!
Also everyone said you had to be super fast, I'm not sure. I did it pretty slow... I followed the directions and switched back to this video and watched it 2x and switched back and it worked for me. IdK about anyone else.

If you have an android phone swipe down to the menu at the top of your phone that has Internet, bluetooth etc and make sure you turn location off whislt on the raid menu. Theb you can join
