I like that you suggest the different ways the colors can be used to create a variety of looks. Too many people fall into the habit of using all their quads and quints in exactly the same manner so it’s great to have content creators like you and Cheri Voyage open our eyes (no pun intended) to all the possibilities. In the 65 years I have been wearing makeup, I’ve never tired of the opportunities for self-expression that makeup provides. At 80, I obviously cannot embrace all the trends in the same way younger women can, but I can certainly adapt them enough to keep my makeup look fresh and modern. No mutton dressed as lamb for me; just a confident and relevant look.
These are beautiful palettes. Both color stories look great on you, Jennifer! I wish they weren’t $108 each, but I’m not shocked since they’re Hermès. I just recently started purchasing Tom Ford’s eyeshadow quads, and I only have a few. Right now, I’m looking into buying some natural hair brushes.

Very sophisticated! I agree with you about brushes. I would add that good brushes can be found within a tighter budget such as my teacher income (spectrum, sigma are fantastic).
And rephr is doing promotions right now, like 10 natural hair brushes for $100, and other sets of 5 for $60!
It's sometimes more about shape than what is used for the bristles. I have a super flat packing brush from Sigma that picks up shimmers the same way the super expensive Japanese ones do
Thank goodness for your review. I was about to buy the green, but I have the Prada green one already and I love that formula. Also love the Prada and waiting for sales to get the rest. Great review as always! Both eyes look great!💚

Love your looks so much! I got the same ones as you and then went back for the blue and the maroon. GORGEOUS! Like Prada, the color stories are so fabulous!
For the newcomers, Prada has been consistent in their formula and quality similar to CDP Beauty. But right now the eyeshadows from YSL, Prada, CDP and it seems like Hermes is making up for the Dior reformulation. bye bye money

I have the exact same two quads in my shopping cart. I've been waiting for reviews as they are outrageously priced. They are lovely. I also love their lip oils and shiny lipsticks. I'm loving last spring/summer's shiny lipsticks. They are perfect for fall. I'm glad I got all three.

Thank you for explaining how you were using them. It's nice to watch and try to copy. I actually really like Hermes Beauty but I don't like how the shades aren't really separated by deep pans in the palette. My intention is to purchase a few Pradas once they become easier to get.
Hi - Beautiful looks! Thank you for investing in these two quads and demoing them. As much as I might be tempted to purchase a couple of these quads, they are $CAD140 here plus 13% tax. (And as there is only one retailer, sales are few and far between.) Furthermore, these shadows are talc-free and I need to know about wear-time - especially when it comes to the light shimmer/metallic shades. (I have noticed that talc-free shimmer/metallic shades - in Dior, YSL, TF - go dull within a couple of hours - which doesn’t happen with my talc-based eyeshadows.) Please do update us on wear-time. Thanks again!
I've noticed the same with shimmers and metallics going dull. You can see that even in wear tests people do in YT
Thank you for the review, the veggie look is reminiscent of a mermaid, the grey looks elegant and am still looking for good quality blue . Which appear to be available.
Thanks to you I have bought the Prada green and yellow and the quality is outstanding. The Hermes quads look wonderful, at £90 each I am going to wait..
I really like the gray quad. I think it is wearable for day or night. The green looked very pretty on you but I will wait for sale.😊

You can have many colourstories, and these eyeshadows are gorgeous!!! Yes, € 104 here in The Netherlands/Europe, i only ordered the quad Ombres Mordorée so far, it's on the way, looking forward to it! Very beautiful video! By the way, that's a Hakuhodo brush you often use, can you tell me the number when you have time, it looks so comfortable, quick apply shimmer shades! Thank you so much for your demos! So helpful! ❤ To be honest, I don’t think they look any better than many others brands and I still stand behind the 3 points I highlighted in my video. I love how the mattes blend, not too much how the shimmers look. So I’ll pass for now.

Hermes just cannot convince me. The prices are a joke - it just gets distasteful at some point.
Not sure if it's just because of online video, but the packaging looks cheap too. The only good thing about them beyond the formula (which is the most important sure) is that they're refilable.
I agree with you. There is nothing amazing about these eyeshadows that could justify that price. Long time ago I bought a Chanel eyeshadow quad in Paris at the Chanel shop. In less than one month, the golden metal from the packaging fell off, and the applicator started to dissolve, the eyeshadows were fine but nothing amazing, then I bought the YSL mascara, and made my eyelashes looking terrible, and by the end of the day, I had black particles all over my face. I like Sigma eyeshadows formula, Persona palettes, even Huda or Natasha Denona have more expensive but worth the price palettes, and nothing bits my Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. Not everything that shines is gold!
I really love my luxury items, yet Tom Ford took it all to a level of bizarre. The classics are a lot cheaper than these new kids on the block.

I've ordered the Fumees & Marines from Selfridges as they were a little cheaper than buying in Australia at AU $175 but I'll be stopping there. Im pleased to hear the formula is good, especially for the price!

These are beautiful looks, Jennifer, i was going to skip, at least this year, but probably adding next month or so to the list😂 i will go with the one that has silver, gold and reddish kind of shade, it looks more warmer. I have Prada green one and pulse , so even not the same, i dont think i need. Mascara not right now, just picked up YSL in blue and Dolce& Gabbana devotion 😜 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

I think the quads are nice. I like the looks you created. They are pretty, But for me, I want to try the Cle De Peau first.
When you get the other Pradas, can you do a shorts or a video to show the color stories? I’ve been interested in the one called Pulp, but haven’t really seen anyone close to my skin tone use it. I just don’t have the stomach to spend that much on a shadow. I’m so glad- got to draw the line at some point.

They are very beautiful! Today I bought 06 and is gorgeous! 😍 I will buy 2 or 3 more but not right now. I am waiting for Chanel holiday collection at the end of October. Regarding the prices, in Australia is $175 each quad and mascara $110. When I bought the eyeshadow I have tried the mascara (black) in store and I love it. Believe it or not Chantecaille mascara is more expensive here:$122. Hermes will come with an eyelash curler and my SA told me that is not on the market yet because they have to improve something. I have one from Chanel and one from Dior (I love both) but I’m very curious about the new one from Hermes. I’m not interested in Hermes brushes. Thanks for sharing! 😊

Not that long but about the same as all the shiny/ glossy lip products I have. And it does feather a bit

Hi, Thanks for great video❤ I have an absolut max-price for everything and even if I could afford it, I will not buy. There is plenty on lux and quality in less expensive options.
Both palettes are gorgeous, but oof, $108 is not happening for me. I purchased 2 of the blushes during a sale last year and I love them. Not interested in the mascara TBH, so many great ones out there.

Query- what is the difference in longevity. So far the Prada ones do not last long on me
Before applying eyeshadows (no matter what brand) I use an eye primer (ex.: Urban Decay original) and a setting powder (translucent). After I apply the primer (spread with a concealer brush) and the powder, I wait for one minute or so and then apply the eyeshadow. I don’t have Prada eyeshadows but I have eyeshadows from Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford, Chantecaille and Hermes. All of them stay on all day - zero fade from morning to evening.
