No matter how many times I watch this, it never stops being absolutely hilarious. Jan Hooks was fantastic, and I think even Tammy Wynette probably had a good laugh.
Idky but I remember seeing this when I was really young on a rerun. It’s always stuck with me. I’ll just be minding my business and the Beethoven version will start playing in my head.
I was just thinking about this skit today and how hilarious it is, a good childhood memory. RIP wonderful, hilarious and always remembered Jan Hooks, and of course the legendary Tammy Wynette.
wow, this was terrible, nothing against Jan but there wasn't anything creative to this, now that lucy lawless as stevie nicks is hilarious, that's the route they should have gone with this, tammy was a huge talent with many great songs..
Jan did so many amazing impressions, SNL was so lucky to have her
The best is the punch line, "...you'll receive free, this second album, Boots Randolph's 'Yakkity Bartok'!"
Such a talented and beautiful woman.
We miss you, Jan.
The SNL years with Jan Hooks and Nora Dunn were some of the best.

Phil Hartman’s voiceover is funny too. Stand by your man. By your man. By your man.

I love, love, love, LOVE her!!!!
Jan Hooks was such an amazing part of SNL.
Just thought of this classic. Brilliantly funny.
This is so funny!
If you call 1-800-YOUR-MAN these days, Josh Turner answers it.
i love it
The best. May she Rest In Peace.
Yakkity Bartok lol!
Will you take a UK cheque????
This doesn’t make any sense. It would be better if it was someone who had made a career on one song but her catalog is classic after classic.
