From Chucky Season 1 Episode 2 "Give Me Something Good To Eat": Chucky targets one of Jake's frenemies, forcing Jake to decide whether he will stop the killer doll or help him.
Chucky (2021): After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begins to expose the town's hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies and allies from Chucky's past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll's untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.

But he isn't an ally. He's manipulating Jake to get him to kill by preying on his insecurities over being gay and the regrets of being unable to patch things up with his dad before Chucky killed him. While the message is on the right point, the messenger... not so much.
Fun Fact: The fandom has come to the conclusion that both souls (Glen's and Glenda's) coexist in Glen's body due to Glenda getting killed by Chucky before being born (when he stabbed tiff on the belly). This theory still needs confirmation by Don Mancini himself.
I theorize that glen and Glenda are two separate beings like the end of Seed of Chucky showed us. But as they became older both became gender fluid but kept their names
