Such a huge part of the books left out of the films. I am hoping they make Ron more book accurate with the new HBO show and then can bring in some themes like the kitchens / elves to expand on Hermione a bit more too!
Not sure if anyone cares, but here's my predictions: I heard the tower set will cost around 230 bucks and if that's true, I think this will obviously be a rather big set which might complete the backside of the great hall completely. Personally I think the brown plates at the end of the hall are an indicator for something like that. Also, (and I might be completely mistaken with this thought, as I haven't seen anyone mentioning this before) I think there will be a new chamber of secrets. I'm 100% sure about that but I wouldn't be surprised if this would be part of the tower set. Now, if the tower is closed and complete (unlike the owlery) I think the tower and the chamber (or what ever will close the backside of the great hall) will be separate sets. The reasons why I so much believe there will be a new chamber are: - The latest chamber (76398) was issued a few years ago and is now retiring, so there'd be a comfortable six to eight months break before releasing the new one. - 76398 was only the second chamber to ever be released and I'm sure they'll make a third and ,,final,, one before changing over to ,,entirely new,, HP sets due to the new HBO Harry Potter series in a few years. - I see the fhe fact that they reissued the duel club set as a strong indicator for another chamber. In this case, I think part one of this current Lego HP wave will be related to the first two or three films, while part two (feat. the bridge, astronomy tower etc.) will be related to the later films. Ps. I think the tower will feature a mirror of Erised.. It's obviously missing so far, and I don't think that they forgot about it. AND we might expect a final Hogwarts Express in 2026 :). I hope I'm making sense :). Cheers 🥂
I could defo see the Chamber of Secrets closing off the backside of the Great Hall bottom level - tho I wonder if that will be a later set? The Chamber of Secrets is always one of my favorite sets, so I really want to see it in this Hogwarts System. The Mirror raises the question too if we will see the rooms from the various tasks (Fluffy, Devil's Snare, Wizard's Chest + Final Chamber) ... Hmm maybe the Tower will be from the first 1-2 films ... I am guessing the Herbology class will be the Mandrake scene. I am very interested to see the Main Tower because I think it will give us a lot of insights about the future plans for this Hogwarts Castle System!
The tower will be 5 or 4 stories Ground floor: slytherin common room 1. - 2. floor: staircase 3. floor: gryffindor common room 4. flour (roof): Dumbledores Office
I noticed that the flying lesson set folds all the way around the main structure and there’s still one place where there are those clips connectors. I guess it’ll be linking up to the back side of the castle, but very curious to see how it evolves!
In every normal Lego catalogue there is a small picture showing the silhouette of the new Hogwarts castle, you can exactly see where the owlery will connect, and how big the main tower will be... - I guess this is pretty close to how it will look (although you can't identify the buildings of the flying lesson there)
@@PACasey thanks so much mate! The L shaped shelf behind me is from Amazon and the driftwood hanging shelf was made by a local artisan - always looking for good shelving!! Haha once I get a new one it has a habit of filling yo more quickly than I anticipated 🤣😅
The photo of the flying lesson shows 2 clips so it may attach to something. This castle is quickly heading towards a finished cost of $1,000...a thousand dollars!?! That's crazy. That means Lego has got to deliver on their promise of the most detailed castle ever...one mistake could cost them. I am not buying until I see more to know if it's worth the cost!
I agree this is going to get very pricey and I hope it is all worth it! I wonder if the September DTC LEGO Harry Potter set will be the Quiddicth Pitch that can be added/displayed with the Flying Lesson and/or Hogwarts Castle sets in general? ...
I’m really sad that I have to choose what to put under the great hall currently I’ve done bathroom right potions left I think it looks the best but I wish hufflepuff had somewhere else to go and maybe the door too
Interesting, do you thing the interior of the tower will also focus on the Goblet of fire or just include the dragon? Haha, I am shocked people ask me that about the minifigures, very observant! When they are holding items I put them the correct way, but for some reason I have always put them down since I was a kid and now it looks wrong to put them the other way, hahaha.
Thank you so much - glad you enjoyed and I am super stoked to have these sets in hand on January 1!! Go Ravenclaw! Do you have a favorite character and/or are they a Ravenclaw!?!
I wish they would do a Kitchen build for the basement. More elves other than dobby and Kreature. It's where it should be.
I’m planning on buying a second charms set to mod into the kitchen.
That's a really fun idea! I wonder if we will see the Kitchens in the new HBO series...

I really hope that the great hall clip under the courtyard connects to a bridge that goes to the viaduct. So excited to see the images when they leak!
Agreed - this castle system seems to be delivering so far, but the next BIG structure can really make or break the system, so very excited/hopeful!

Do you think there will be any rooms or such on the level(s) of the grand staircase?
The divination class should not be part of the tower, it belongs in the east wing with the Ravenclaw common room.
Good to know - I defo think we'll see the Slytherin Common Room in the dungeons and a grand staircase for sure!

@LegoCastleAndAdventurersFan I am very excited for the January wave in a few weeks and cannot wait for images to leak of the main tower

The real location for the flying class is on the other side of the castle not next to the great hall
So, I’ve yet to see any reviewer recognize that the owlery might not be covered in snow but in owl poop instead of snow…just saying
Hahaha, that does seem to be a common theme for the owlerys!!!
I reckon the main tower will have a horntail, random thought of mine
Quick question, how come you have your minifigure's hands facing down
Interesting, do you thing the interior of the tower will also focus on the Goblet of fire or just include the dragon?

@JJMLY I'd expect so. It just seems so obvious to me that Lego, if they are making a huge main tower, should have a dragon clinging onto the roof

Im just so tired of them doing the same things over and making all these different castle styles.
