Thanks for posting.This is my first foray into model boat kits and a good learning curve. Mine is coming along and I too have worked out a few things re planking although my first attempt was not great. had to start again but came right. Once this boat is completed I'm on to the jolly boat which should give me some more planking experience. Plan to go slighjtly bigger each time but not get ahead of myself if I can help it. I'll use your post here to check my efforts against. unfortunately the kit didn't pack the two little eyelets for the rigging from the main sail so I'm thinking about an alternative solution.
Hi Chris if ever get missing parts have a look at Cornwall model boats website to buy spares. Or just go on Artesian Latina website and use the parts service they will send out missing parts. Hope this helps.
