Great job! Let me give you some advice. Been building engine's for 40 yrs. And your engine been sitting for 15yrs.( Change your valve springs) you don't want to loss your motor bc of a valve spring especially at them RPMs Plus new springs will help alot with performance. Springs are pretty cheap. Good luck brother ✊️✊️
Good job man the car looked at is starting to look good can't wait to see you finish it up and everything and can't wait to see you out there on the track and everything and I think you'll win a race maybe not right off but I got faith in you cuz ffr is awesome 😎
Awesome video! Onething I would definetly change is the way the front bumper is mounted. If the front bumper takes a hard hit, it will bend the engine bay hoop and possibly the frame. I believe it should be bolted on to add a "crush" zone so the frame doesn't take all the impact. Same for the back bumper. It's just my thought. I'm newer to FWD racing, but I've built and worked on quite a few Modifieds and Late Models. Bumpers should be "replaceable"
I'm thinking about building a dirt track car, either 1. Hobby stock, 2. Street stock, 3. Pure stock, or a 4. 4 cyclinder front wheel drive stock car. I live in North Carolina what would you suggest that I should build based on where I live???? Much appreciated you guys and your videos..
That stinger needs to be painted like her Dads pure stock I think.Keeping it in the family . thanks Paul for your friendship and help
That’s a great idea
Dude, this is so Freaking Awesome! So excited for ya bro. Looks like you will be on track sooner than originally thinking.
That's the plan! I’m pumped!
Heck yeah Can't wait to see you on the track when it's complete good luck Skyler. Clay from mobile Alabama
Thanks Clay. I’m so excited

10/4. We haven’t even looked at any of that yet so good point
Cool stuff
Thanks man
Cool
Thanks
Cole trickle paint totally needed on that body style if your keeping it the same the 2 neon colors faded together
That could be a possibility
Are you using a chevy body
It’s a prefabbed body from all star the one that came with it original in the first video
What you do with your legand car?
I flipped the legend car and totaled it out. Videos are on the channel
I'd come off the bars that seat bolts to and run 2 bars to the ones going to the rear of the car
It already has 4 mounting spots. I did cut the bars though
Is there a way I can show you how the bars are on mine.
@gregruffin3243 yes email me at the email in the description
My o my 😂
You know you love it
He ought to take it across the street and go let her up in the field
Hahaha just may do that
Your boy looks like he's driving on a Mario Kart. Should get him a turtle outfit and some stuff turtles to throw while he's riding around lol
He doesn’t look like that in his car. He car is amazing
@@flemingfamilyracing well duh... We wasn't talking about his car. You gonna need a phone book to sit on so you can see over the dash board😉😉😉
@@kochykoo I can see perfect. This seat is amazing
Take them header gaskets off and use grey silicone thank me later 🤙
10/4 you are the second one to say that! Noted ✅
Who will be driving the Pure Stock? Are you gonna switch up drivers?
Yes sir. We are all gonna give it a go
Make your car number the number of build episodes
I’m afraid I won’t have enough room lol
Let em know I got a Camaro parts car, rear end and all
Awesome. Email me the details
What's up

Hi
Hey man
White body
That’s what we will prob go with

Hobby stock for sure. But 4cyl is more economical.
Hobby stock for sure. 4cyl are more affordable.
@@michaelhouk5420I appreciate your advice. I'm thinking about building both hobby stock and 4 cyclinder, what you think?
Whatever your interest are in man. I love my FWD it’s for sure a lot easier to get into that class. But really whatever your budget is
Hey Skyler I wonder if they have a race division for small trucks like a Chevy s/10 type truck with a V6 motor????
I know several tracks have tossed around the idea
@@flemingfamilyracing so it would a great idea if I would get something like this started???
@@flemingfamilyracing And if did try to get something like this started. How would I go about doing it?????
@@KingMessiahministries I don’t believe so but I’m not hating on you for the idea
There are a lot of 4.3 lt sbc lovers out there and they can tune them up to out run the 8 cylinder all day
I'm also going to start a V6 Thunder stock Division.
Good luck with that man. Hope it takes off
What car models are used in pure stock Division????
Most use Monte Carlo, Camaro, firebird or Impala
Hey skyler What would be a good model to build a 4 cyclinder front wheel drive stock car???
Anything that’s manual if it’s your first car
@@flemingfamilyracingwhat year would be the best to start with??
Does your track allow VTEC?
@@flemingfamilyracing not sure I would have to check ✔️... All I know is that it has to be a 4 cyclinder and they don't allow rotary engines...
@@KingMessiahministries if you can have vtec that’s what you need to go with
Hey Skyler I'm going to start a new mini truck stock racing division called " Mini truck V6 stock Division" what do you think????
You can try. It’s hard to find them trucks
@@flemingfamilyracing you think it's hard to find older small trucks like Chevy s/10, fard ranger, GMC Sonoma etc
I think it will do ok if you can find people to build them
I'm seeking a pure stock racing chassis. If anyone knows of someone selling one please let me know thanks.. I live in North Carolina..
I will sell all the Camaro stuff if you are interested
@@flemingfamilyracing how much?
@@KingMessiahministries email or pm us and we can chat
What is your email address
I have a chevelle factory stock roller but I'm located in Alabama
I wonder how I can be a dirt track promoter?????
I’m sure you can contact your local track and get info
Would you guys Fleming family racing sponsor our race team "Bunting family racing""??????
All of our 2023 sponsors have already been chosen
@@flemingfamilyracing no prob maybe next season...
So basically pure stock is just like hobby stock...
Yes they are very similar
Awesome video!!!! That car is gonna look slick!!!! If you can, Skyler will ya shoot me a message on how much the spray paint is down there.
Thanks man! It’s expensive like 7$ a can
