FINALLY! Someone who respects Halloween 3 for once. I’ve always loved the film with everything from the atmosphere,the soundtrack,hell even the nice 80’s feeling to the movie! Love your ranking and the artwork!

I agree a lot with your lowest ranking ones especially Resurrection and Halloween II (2008). I never really knew you did different kind of content like this. I really like and I think you should do more (unless you’ve already been doing this a lot and I’ve just been missing out)
Here’s my ranking for the films:

5. Halloween Ends (I know this film has been controversial with a lot of fans but I personally really enjoyed it. It was a solid film in general and probably had the best pacing, tension, and atmosphere out of the three Gordon Green films. A lot of people say that the first 3/4 of the film are the worst part (mostly focusing on Corey) and that the last part is the only good thing about the film, but I like to argue that the first 3/4 of the film is the best. Not only was the Corey storyline super interesting, I thought his whole dynamic with Michael made for a really interesting arc and the reason I let a lot of the scenes with Michael taking a back seat during this film is because I thought that there was going to be so some big pay off in the end, but there wasn’t. The ending is honestly what ruined the rest for me. It was bland, and left me with more questions than answers. It basically made the first 3/4 pointless to watch which is guess is why a lot of people didn’t like that aspect of the film.)

Halloween 3: Season of The Witch gets an honorable mention for me because I don’t really consider it part of the franchise, but as it’s own thing it’s a pretty solid film.
Totally agree about Ends, go further with Corey, finish that storyline properly, if they did that it would be way higher up my list!
And I've been slowly adding stuff to this channel for a couple years, speed-art rankings and even some breakdowns of my animations recently!

And about the Halloween Ends thing, it wasn’t just about Corey for me, it was also about Michael as well. The only reason I didn’t really care much about him being sidelined or being beaten up by Corey during the film was the fact I thought the ending was going to give some huge payoff to the character or give the audience an explanation. The movie ended far too abruptly and it just left us more confused about Michael than any other film in the franchise.

I have to say, even though I don't personally agree with your ranking, I am very happy someone has finally not said that the original 1978 film is not the best. Again, while this isn't my opinion, I was pleasantly surprised by this ranking. 👏

For your main channel do you hire a voice actor?
I've been working with Stanton Nichols for the main videos ever since the Jason video! I was initially gonna use a different narrator for each but just loved the way he got what the narration needed and he was into a lot of the same stuff I am! If you watch the first video on Tell It Animated (The Basset one) you'll hear a British narrator, which gives that video a more regal tone. I always do a rough recording with my own voice and then re-edit them to Stanton's narration afterwards, it allows me to worry more about the video and animation and less about how to say something when Stanton does it perfectly!
Wow, that’s awesome. Yeah, you picked a good choice Stanton Nicholes. His voice fits the vibes of the videos.

Possibly! They're also teasing a new movie maybe so might wait to see how that starts coming together, it's been way too long without a Jason film

Personally, I enjoyed the new trilogy and I really enjoyed Halloween Ends and don’t really understand the HEAVY amount of hate it gets, I understand why people dislike it (Corey was very underused and shouldve DEFINITELY been used more) but I dont understand why people DESPISE it!

My favorite is a shocker my favorite Halloween film is Halloween 2018 I just love it because it's perfect there's nothing wrong with it like good kills,balenced out PG-13 moments,and the mask is good actually the best mask yeah just perfect but my least favorite is well Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 because they got nothing for the horse to many naked woman and wierd
Haha H2 (2009) is certainly weird, I agree with 2018 being a well done film for sure, cinematography and acting are top-notch, best in the franchise possibly. Wish it gelled with me a little more, but I recognize the love they put into it!
I respect your opinion on this ranking. For my ranking, Halloween 2018 is at #1. Halloween Ends could’ve been a whole lot better if it fully focused on Michael and not this Corey kid.

Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 is honestly a great movie. I enjoyed it so much more than his first one.

As my list mehh? remember its my personal opinion I guess like 1. Halloween (2018) 2. Halloween (1978) Classic 3. Halloween Kills They kinda tried to make it like a classic movie but i personally think michael was ruthless there 4. Halloween II Its a good follow up to the original 5. Talk about Halloween Ends Sure it's not as good as the others but come on, it's the end of the story sure it has some flaws but it's a bring back memories for me.

My favorite is halloween 2009 but the mask just has to much blood on the side of the face👍🔪
From Best to Worst:
1. Halloween (1978) - the creepiest one. Very unsettling from the get go.
2. Halloween 2 (1981) - the closest in tone to the original.
3. Halloween H20 - the best “ending” for the series. Even though it feels more like “Scream” than “Halloween,” Laurie’s arc and victory over Michael actually felt earned. The only real drawback is the masks and glaring continuity issues of Michael’s damage from 2.
4. Halloween (2018) - a great return to form.
5. Halloween Ends - I actually like the Corey story but Michael sucked in this one. The final battle between Michael and Laurie did feel shoe-horned in and Ends would’ve been way better as it’s own thing. But it’s very clear that this was inspired by how different Halloween 3 is especially since they used the same font for the opening and ending credits so I can appreciate that that’s what they were going for.
6. Halloween Kills - I hated this movie when it came out because of how dumb the characters were. But with how much of Michael was lacking in Ends I actually came around to appreciating this one more than I did at first. This is probably the best Michael has been and in future rewatches this could possibly replace Ends.
7. Halloween 6 - very messy movie no matter which version you’re watching. But it does have maybe the best fall atmosphere in the entire series and Michael was absolutely terrifying. Also the last time we really get to see Loomis.
8. Halloween 3 - like Ends, would’ve been better as it’s own thing. It’s still a pretty silly movie though, but it does have one thing going for it that the others don’t: this movie is actually about the holiday whereas the others are about a guy who likes to kill on the holiday.
9. Halloween 4 - felt very basic. It’s not bad, but I was bored with how safe and basic it was. The mask also really kills it.
10. Halloween (2007) - the first half is cringey Rob Zombie garbage. The second half is actually a decent slasher movie.
11. Halloween: Resurrection - undoing H20’s ending and killing Laurie off in the first few minutes instantly killed the rest of this movie. Then it becomes a generic early 2000s slasher movie. I know a lot of people hated Busta Rhymes, but he’s actually the only entertaining thing about this movie because of how stupid his entire inclusion and delivery is.
12. Halloween 5 - the most boring Halloween film. So many things wrong like scrapping the ending from 4, killing Rachel off early, the wrong house, horrible mask, etc. The chase at the end is decent though and is the only decent thing this movie has to offer.
13. Halloween 2 (2009) - even cringier Rob Zombie garbage than 2007. Everything about this movie is just bad. Hobo Michael, douchebag Loomis, over acting from Scout, Rob Zombie’s cringe dialogue and characters. If I had to erase one Halloween movie from existence, it would be this one.

I actually liked that you put H3 in first, I love that movie so much but it’s not my favorite, it’s my top 3. But honestly it’s a really good movie. If it was just called season of the witch then it would be a cult classic and may have sequels following the movie.
It's definitely grown into a cult classic recently after shaking off the initial hate for it, I watch it a few times every year whenever the feeling strikes me
