- I really felt like I NEEDED some background papers so I had to design them. I had so much fun playing with these. I printed some on 55gsm tracing paper and made some baggies. I also enjoyed creating some journal pages.

Oh, my goodness !! This is why I love your channel so much -- I don't do social media, so I don't really know about other channels, but you, dear girl, always talk about and appreciate the work of others. I've been watching a lot of British TV on Amazon, and they all say: Right up my Street. We always say: Right up my alley -- it made me smile. That journal is beyond gorgeous and really is you "on a plate." The magnificent talent of everyone is overwhelming to me sometimes -- it's like i can't take it all in at one time. I know you will treasure this for the remainder of your life, and if Lulu behaves herself, it will be in the family treasure box. I know your Stephie will appreciate it as well, and how thoughtful to send Lulu drawing paper. I find such comfort in the youtube crafting community -- I *KNOW* if all the crafters of the world got together and worked on issues plaguing us today, we'd have these problems resolved in no time and all have beautiful projects at the end !!! -- I'm only at 14:18, but this floored me -- you can get priceless 17th century books at your antique market, but not a tin of altoids -- We put altoids in our grocery delivery last week just so I could turn it into a needle case -- ha.

I thourally enjoyed listening to you today. Ive not been sleeping well, so im up embroidering and listening to you. My mom was the queen of nosey. And now when the kids are inquisitive, we say just like Joansie 👍. Its very hard not to be when you live in an apt.

Oh poor Steffie! I do hope he gets over the eye infection. Eye drops are no fun. Glad it’s not the unmentionable!
When anyone here (humans or dog) needs meds and it’s multiple times/meds, we make a chart and magnet it to the fridge and mark off when it was taken. On,y way we can keep track!
He had 3 types of drops, one was an antibiotis. He just finished the last dose yesterday and appears to be better. Thank you so much!

That journal, I can imagine why you bought it, it's so different and gougeous. I fell traight away in love with it.
My daughter had early this summer an eye-infection or so she thought, she even thought she had sonething I got. When after a couple of days she went to the docters because it kept getting worse she found out it was not a normal eye infection at all it was the big C that she got through her eyes. Luckely she is all better now.
I am glad in your case it was just an infection and is treated well.

@@roxycreations679 yes it is true, it is a rare symptom. That's why you can wear a sprayshield in front of your eyes. People like my eldest son, my daughter and me who already have sensitive eyes seem to have a higher risk, probably because we touch our eyes more often when they hurt, burn or itch. How is Stef doing now?

Love these Christmas baggies. I started today getting my papers cut and deciding which go in which journal. Be careful with Stefi’s eye. Don’t let it go on too long. If he wears contacts be sure he tosses the old ones and don’t wear new ones until completely healed. I have both pairs of TH scissors and the large are good for cutting thick card stock. Don’t really care for the small ones for fussy cutting. I use a small pair by WeRMemory Makers. I’ve had them about 10 or 12 years. Very sharp with tiny points.

Talking about things flying around your head I mowed today and omg there were literally swarms of Mosquitoes flying all around me. Now I know how those animals feel when the mossier drive them mad. I have never seen so many in our yard. Between them and grasshoppers it was like a wild country scene.

Beautiful bags and tags for a Christmas journal. The 25 really made Santa pop!💕 I have the cheapest Epson eco-tank printer and recently ordered some clear velum paper. Hoping I can print out on it with no problems...haha...we’ll see!

Lol winters coming indeed. Our cases are increasing because we have mass young crowds not wearing the masks. I love the old rag paper. The textures are yummy. Your tearing is bad when you try ripping the tiny strip of white off. If you remember you need to reverse your tearing and rip the small side away instead of taking the larger side remember they said leave the tiny side showing and rip that away.

All the best to Steffi. After some eye surgery early this year, I had to use all these drops. My sweet husband kept track of the times and number of drops for me. When there is a problem with ones eyes, it is very annoying, so I feel for Steffi. I am sure it will get better very soon. It has to, or you will have to do all the cooking. haha, how terrible would that be... Hugs to all of you, take care of one another..

OK -- I've only been working on these journals since -- um -- February -- and I'm almost done, but I'm catching up on videos I missed during my recent little illness, and now you've got me all in the Christmas spirit -- and your work is beautiful and so clever -- so I just spent the last hour -- how did it go by so fast -- reviewing and trying to organize all of my Christmas digis -- but you're STILL causing me to lose concentration, because there are certain of your pages I just love -- I like them all, but you know how one just keeps calling to you -- Rachel's High -- no, wait -- it's Balihi will call you ....now I've got to go over and order new ink and ensure I have the correct papers -- it's going to be fun -- (one of my fav digis is part of your Italy digi -- it's the beautiful aged large terracotta pot -- gorgeous! -- and I have a thing for doors, and the ones you included are so just right !!)

I too am a terrible tear-er. I have learned that if I use pressure on the ruler all the way along my tear, it works most of the time. Whatever hand you tear with, the ruler-holding hand I follow all along the ruler using pressure all the way down, or up, whatever direction I’m tearing. It’s a coordination thing.
Wanna compare making mistakes? I keep trying to record....then 45 minutes in, I realize my phone is in the wrong orientation. Sigh. 🙄

A trip to the hospital in the states costs thousands of $$$. On top of that the price for the perscriptions. Even with good health coverage it still costs thousands of $$$. I wish we could have universal health care. Our commander in Stupid here is denig how terrible the virus is. So yes its out of control..
Cutting paper will not hurt your scissors. Cutting heavy Polyester fabric is worse than anything else. Don't however cut heavy cardboard or wire with your sewing scissors. I do have a pair of Tim Holtz scissors. I saw Artymaze use them. I do like them but not for fussy cutting.
