In May 2021 I went on a solo trip yoga retreat at the El Sabanero Eco Lodge in Costa Rica near Tamarindo in Guanacaste and WOW was it amazing. Hear from me and a few other guests on the yoga, food, environment and community of the Lodge, while we play a cutthroat game of Spoons.
I’ve been putting out into the universe that I want and need a yoga retreat. Coming across this makes me so excited. You’ve just showed me that it’s very possible 🙏🏾
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,572 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
@@chimdi Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my TH-cam channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a TH-camr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this TH-cam thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)

@@chimdi Thank you! I recently quit nursing as I hate it and it doesn’t make me fulfilled at all. Working in a very toxic environment isn’t worth sacrificing for. I then decided to slowly dig my way out. I am now an office manager in a clinic and do creative stuff via TH-cam and freelancing. It’s still a corporate job but I’m happier than working as a Nurse. I like the people I work with and they treat me with respect and as a human-being. That’s what’s more important to me. Having a sense of purpose through creating online content I truly care about also helps a lot. My freelancing gigs also give me creative outlets. I like the variety of tasks of being a manager as well as it offers tons of creativity. This job also gives me more free time for myself and I can spend some time socializing with my loved ones and meeting new folks. I couldn’t have been much happier if I didn’t start taking actions to change my life.

Love the visuals. Sound like an amazing experience. Costa Rica is on my list. Are you still using the T5i with the Sigma lens? I clicked the link but it said SONY idk if that would be okay for my Canon? How far do you have to stand back from the lens when filming? It seems relatively inexpensive for a Sigma lens. I do mostly vlogs and sit down content videos from home. Thanks for your help in advance. 💕✨
Thank you!!! Oh that's strange about the link, yes still the T5i with the Sigma lens! I've never used any Sony lens/cameras, but a quick TH-cam search will probably showcase the quality. I've got a ton of sit-down videos from my house on my channel, and I'll sit anywhere from 1 foot away to clear across the room depending on the shot!
