Would be a great option for Amazon to sell more Firesticks if this was a built in option on Firesticks themselves with no need to buy extra accessories.
Well let's think about it, you are using your cell phone for creating a hotspot. So you can't use your phone to connect to itselt to cast. You could cast a different phone to it with the same process as at home. So if you have a passenger doing it with their phone it would work.
I'm not sure. it works great in our Jeep and our BMW. Haven't heard of a vehicle it doesn't work on. It created a carplay and uses an input on your system. So it would be separate from Android Auto.
No, that would not be good for those with those plans. But you can also run your stick without any internet if you pre-download content. Great option for some
Good option for some people in certain circumstances but other than data limits or no hotspot I can see some people trying to watch a program while driving.... definitely not safe. But still cool
This is what I've been searching for! Thank you so much! You are awesome!!!

Some model vehicles already have it. But this was a need in the market that Amazon did not think of
Thanks
Can this work on the portable android auto screen.
Yes, it should work on a portable Android Auto screen! Just make sure you have all the necessary connections and settings configured properly.
cool
How about a video to cast the apps already on your phone onto the infotainment in the car?

Does it work on wireless data ?
Some use mobile hotspot (which data plans vary), some have wifi in their car (more common now).
I've seen a few reviews where they say that this does not work with Android Auto. Almost pulled the trigger but held off once I read this.

What's the difference between the first link that's $55 and the 3rd link that's $79? Do you need both?
Same thing. Walmart has them on sale. Some prefer Amazon to get it faster.
@CuriosityCafe thank you!!!!
Whats the amazon link to this

FYI we put the links in the description of our videos. Click the title of the video to see it if using a cell phone
I have a pioneer cd/DVD player unit it has a 7 inch screen.
Clicked on the Amazon link and the price was $109. Is there a code to get the discounted price? Also, will it work in a Tesla Model Y?
There is a $30 coupon you have to click. It's right below the price
Yes, I've heard of it working on Tesla. Really anything with an infotainment system. Even basic ones
thats a great idea Mr. C, I think I'll pick one up 👍
Most people have very limited hotspot data on their monthly plan.
This is unfortunate. I’ve used unlimited since the iPhone came out. It’s extremely useful.
Be nice is you showed where in the car you plugged it in...
Sorry, we mentioned it. There is only a USB port to use with this. Does your vehicle have a USB?
Looks like a great option only if you have unlimited hotspot....which unfortunately doesn't come with a cheap phone plan. Lol

Yeah, I use it for the kids in the back. They love watching Daniel Tiger. I would never consider it for watching while driving.
Will it work in BMW
Yes I use it in our x5 for the kids
