- The Mongols can get such a fast start to Fuedal Age and in this game the Huns were struggling to stay alive. As the game went on however, the huns grew more and more into the match and then we saw something HUGELY exciting! This match was from TTL, check out the info below for more enjoyment!

30:21 BacT was selling food for 80 gold. That either means SongSong has been buying food at 81 farmers (because Mongols don't get Guilds) or BacT had bought food earlier.
When I was a kid (during original Aoe2 + expansion) I thought Tarkans attacks using a bag of sand and I seriously questioned how the hell does sand do so much damage against buildings
When I was a kid, I had no idea about bonus damage and whatnot, and strictly went off of the damage number. I thought rams with 2 attack were useless, so i rarely used them and just chopped buildings down with champions. I cared more about making a realistic town and military than I did about actually being effective. I had to have pikemen in front of champions, knights on the side for flanking, some archers, some skirmishers, a few cav archers, a couple camels, because why not. I guess my logic was, if I can make them, I should.
I would pay good money for my game booklet. I remember writing Swedish "translations" for things. The mangudai for some reason I thought had slingshots, so I called them "slingshot men".

The Tarkans *do* make a noise. It's not a "thump" because the horse does rise and stomp. What we hear is the sound of fire flames from their weapons.

I watched this game in live. It was one of the best games I ever watched. Was extremely exciting because all the argentina and most part of Latin America audience were teaming for songsong!! It was the same spirit like watching a extreme important football game. That was because with his victory Capoch could pass to the next bracket in the league. Excellent tournament T90!!!. Thanks for organizing this event in this beautiful game!

The titans league is a great idea! With promotion and relegation and so on. Highly suggest doing a highlights segment. Full games are nice but like with any sport most people watch the highlights of many games. So like gameweek 1 highlights, then gameweek 2 highlights, and so on.
Having people care about what a relegated player does is a great way to show how the leagues and promotion and relegation mean much more than a one day/two day cup. Nice one!

Tarkin is a highly underrated UU and I think if SongSong had maybe had skirms or hussar sooner he could've overwhelmed BacT earlier as the pure hussar spam started to become less effective against the mangudai mass. But still great game, love seeing the buildings getting ripped down by Tarkins.
Anybody got any financial advice? I just spent 50 gold coins to put some feathers on my arrows. Worst investment ever.

What is your opinion on portuguese Feitoria taking population for fast production of resources in imperial age?
Except its not fast production, if you had 20 vils working, they would produce more rez, but on maps with lower resources it makes sense. Also they cannot be raided like vils can, so there is that. Really good for lower level players who cannot take game time to micro manage their economy.

I think T90 has an old video of someone pulling a fast imp into Feitorias in Arena. It can work - 20 vils do bring in more resources, that's true, but it takes way longer to train 20 vils than it takes to build a Feitoria, plus they're really hard to raid and you can place them pretty much anywhere.

yeah, but monks need to get up close and personal with the feitoria, whereas vils can be converted from a safe distance.
Plus, y'know, redemption. It's almost 500 gold and not every civ has access to it.

Tarkans used to be my favorite unit back AOC days, I loved their flaming whips (whatever you call that) and of course... THUMP THUMP!
I also loved their base eating potential, and now with DE, they're better and more reliable than ever!

Help me out here guys, because i don't understand it. In the first third of the game, SongSong tries to fight off a bunch of upgraded scouts with his gold miners on two seperate occasions, instead of running to the TC with them. Why would he do that? He lost a lot of vills and didn't really kill any scouts. I'm a noob who is too afraid to play multiplayer because life is scary, btw.
I think in those moments he really needed the gold for the archers and he thought losing a few vills to get archers out would keep him from losing more vills in the long run. You really should play ranked! You may lose the first dozen games, but once you find your elo, it is a lot of fun!
