As a Toluca fan...yeah America is the biggest in Mexico they have the most titles. They're not having the best season but they're always a threat. Toluca has the 3rd most titles & I just saw your chelsea sweater...so i'll make this comparison, Toluca is very much like Chelsea. This century Toluca has won ALOT & (like Abramovich with chelsea) we also have a rich owner who built us that new stadium a few years ago & spent 40M in signings this season (The most $$ spent in concacaf). America vs Toluca is not a "clasico" but they're ALWAYS bangers. Think of it like a Liverpool vs Man city....there's no correlation between the 2 but are intense games. Both fanbases can go back & forth and tell you about historic wins. Last season America beat us 5-1 & took 1st place from us, this season we beat them 4-0 to get revenge & sent them to the play-off round. In 2003 we beat them 6-0 then years later they beat us 7-2

Before 1990's Toluca was a mid-table team they had some titles, they were never relegated....they were an "established team" in the league but didn't have many titles to make them a Big team. However the past 3 decades they did everything and won titles 1990's,2000's, & 2010's.
