    Finally got a chance to bust out my new Do-it Molds Wacky Jig Mold! I am pretty sure I bought this back in January. With all the flooding here in South Florida, I can't access most of my fishing spots so I use that opportunity to make some jigs for when the waters recede.
    If you make terminal tackle already, you NEED this mold! If you are looking to get into the craft, this is a great mold to start with. Compared to the price of the big brands, you will save yourself a ton just in personal use jigs.
    Thank you so much for watching! Please like this video and if you enjoy this kind of content, watch a couple of more. If you like what you see, consider subscribing.

    Great video Joe! I'm still kicking the idea around of making my own jigs. I think I would pull the trigger if I could find a source of cheap lead. I went to a tire repair shop and got a bunch of used wheel weights but most of them are steel. Thanks for sharing and you were right, that red color turns out great.

    • @ParabellumFishing
      @ParabellumFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Paul. Ya know, I bit the bullet and bought a 5 pound ingot from do-it. $27 I think. But it is also clean lead. no need to mess with it. I just placed it in the pot and let it melt. I'll get a lot of jigs from 5 pounds of lead. I think that red is going to be a popular color for sure

    Love your intro Joe and that channel advert hanging on the wall.👌
    With those weed guards, why not just run that looped end onto the hook and slide it up to the notch in the mold? Does that make it not line up properly if you do that?
    Great step by step on the process, looks great! Love the idea of the muffin tins to sort them.
    Nice video brother!👊💥🎣

    • @ParabellumFishing
      @ParabellumFishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Joe! I need to fine tune that intro thing a bit, but I like it.
      I did try sliding the weed guard up, didn't seem to make much of a difference. it was actually a little more time consuming to try to line up the 2 things at once.
      My wife was not so thrilled to learn of my muffin tin invention. Especially when she made the connection as to where her missing muffin Tim ay have ended up LOL
