It feels very clunky compared to other souls games, the attack animations are all a bit shit, it has way too many bosses (like 50% more than other souls games) and only a few of them are memorable. It also has fairly crappy level design, with seemingly no regard for space or logic, and with no explanation for that like in DS3.
@@voodoominerman I literally could not disagree more with all of your points. The combat feels much more solid and weighty than 1, and the enemy and boss designs are very memorable to me. I love the environments and the atmosphere of the different levels.

And by "weighty", do you mean the way that everything takes a million years? Parry an enemy, wait an age for them to slowly fall over. Want your estus, time to stand still for what feels like 5 seconds. The rolling looks more like face planting than dodging. And when I mentioned poor level design, I was talking about how you can walk several miles down the coastline by entering a 200 metre passageway (Heides tower), things like that. The areas feel completely disconnected.

Dark Souls 2 is a fantastic game and it's so sad that people avoid it because of idiots that think it isn't "a real Souls game".
It has a lot of flaws.
