I always LOVED Charmed. All 8 Seasons. I wish they could come back. But I know that can’t happen. But I do want to thank Holly and Brain for doing these panels. Because there are SO MANY FANS that truly enjoyed that show. I do not see how this reboot is gonna make it. The younger people might enjoy it. But to me it will never be the same. I hope one day I can make it to one of these panels. That is definitely on my bucket list. #CharmedForever

Typically what happens when a thing bombs, is the people who made it blame the audience: "Well, witches aren't in anymore" or "the audience doesn't like magic right now" etc. The answer they give is never "That show/movie wasn't that good and that's why people didn't respond to it, let's do it better next time". This is how genres die.
I really like the proposed idea below about making an actual Charmed reboot called "Halliwell". Make it about the original cast family again. You would have the opportunity to take it in another direction if you wanted. Since evil is supposed to have been vanquished forever now, you could explore new avenues. Or just make a loophole about evil finding a way to wreak havoc again. Everybody would watch it.

Charmed is the best but if I had to change somethings it would be to keep Cole and Phoebe together and to bring Prue back in forever charmed to help fight the ultimate power and lastly Billie and Christie should have never been the ultimate power
I wish they would make a show with them. Although Rose probably wouldn't be interested, since she's been fighting with everyone. I loved the original, although cheesy at times, I loved their relationships and comedy. It's sad to see them making a reboot when a lot of people wish the original one back.
Whatever their relationships were behind the scenes, I wish they suck it up and make a strong comeback with the four of them, even if they'd have to make some screenwriting acrobatics, which is certainly possible, given they've brought mother and grandma witches all the time. I guess it's too much to ask but one can only dream hehe.
Oscar Torres they could even do it as an animated series to make it 2001 again or use cgi for a flashback and then jump nearly 20 years for a movie or show.
Jenny K I actually would like to see them in current times possibly dealing with parenthood with teenage male and female witches but being goofy too. What the fuck are they thinking?, a show like that would be fantastic, way better than the one they are creating. It would be for the old generation of fans and introduce the new one to the show the right way and actually magnifying the franchise. Just like that happend to Roseanne. The fans don't go away, but new ones can be added. As long as they keep the cool eclectic nature of the show with fantasy, comedy, action, a bit of horror and a bit of thriller even with likable charming characters and their relationships.

Look I was born in 2000. I might not have watched it when it was first aired, but I still have to say i grew up with the show. I fell in love with it and I still watch it over and over on Netflix. I'm happy with where the show ended and believe it doesn't need a reboot. After seeing the reboot; that was enough for me to say I'm not a fan.

I didn't like the way it ended. Phoebe never got her active powers back which made her pretty useless in the last season and Prue didn't return even though Shannen was asked to return
khloe Bell well then they should have brought her back sooner. That's just spin because Kern hated shannen and knew she'd reject his ideas for her return. No wonder he got fired for his treatment of female writers on NCIS. And how much shit he pulled behind the scenes on charmed. But yeah show could have been better if Kern wasn't so horrible to the writing staff that most quit.
Also, part of the reason prue didn't return is because in the last season they couldn't even afford to pay Leo's and Darryls actors which is why they weren't in as many episodes. So hiring prue' s actress would be too expensive.

mickey morales honestly they had everything in front of them, Wyatt was way too overpowered and we’ve already seen Chris in the series so why not focus the whole thing on Phoebe’s lineage? She’s the only one who had 3 girls, so 3 new charmed ones! Why not make a show around those 3 girls and sometimes have Prue appear as a ghost or their cousins appear or their aunts you know. They had so many potential and yet they went with the awful trailer we have.

MEANWHILE (in regard to all of the reboot bashing)... This panel talk was FUNNY AS F***!!!! I think it's so dope to learn of Holly and Brian outside of being Piper and Leo. Not just learning of their personal lives, but just merely how they interact with each other and other people in real time "away from the cameras". This was super refreshing to watch, and to be honest, it makes me more interested in watching the Charmed reboot. I don't need to incessantly make comparisons because I am at peace with the original show ending and what the show meant to/did for (technically, what the re-runs still do for) my life. I'm excited and hopeful for what the new version will do for the younger generations, knowing that IF THEY CHOOSE, they can still learn of the original series and be impacted by it as well.
Finally, a show that I understand and can relate to. I love the positive way that the show brings out the best in true spirit of what this show has taught me the way the craft is represented. I have the whole series. I love it.

I have a 18 15 13 and 11 I got them all in it and refused to watch the reboot.
I've seen bits and pieces of the reboot and I m definitely not a fan and will not watch it at all.
Holly and Brian can seriously pull off a magi comedy show of their own ❣️
I didn't like the way it ended. Phoebe never got her active powers back which made her pretty useless in the last season and Prue didn't return even though Shannen was asked to return
SkinnyBlack Kid she didn’t return because brad freaking kern said it would be all about prue’s return instead of just the shows finale
khloe Bell well then they should have brought her back sooner. That's just spin because Kern hated shannen and knew she'd reject his ideas for her return. No wonder he got fired for his treatment of female writers on NCIS. And how much shit he pulled behind the scenes on charmed. But yeah show could have been better if Kern wasn't so horrible to the writing staff that most quit.
There is a comic series that continued the story and prue does come back.
Also, part of the reason prue didn't return is because in the last season they couldn't even afford to pay Leo's and Darryls actors which is why they weren't in as many episodes. So hiring prue' s actress would be too expensive.
SkinnyBlack Kid Also, on the very last episode when Piper and Leo were walking up the stair and we seen the pictures, they didn’t even display a picture of only the original Charmed Ones or one with only Prue. It felt almost as if she was forgotten

@@ericdavis5146 actually it shows how much she and the other cast members loved the show they were on and all of them and the crew worked damn hard to make such a groundbreaking and super popular show for millions of devoted fans. Hell, Charmed to this day is still the longest running female led television show in history and it helped that the four sisters and Leo and Darryl, Cole etc. had the chemistry and the "charm" to pull it off.

I will always love the Original Charmed. I still watch it on Netflix and it is never failed to keep me enthralled. I will not watch the reboot of Charmed since they could not do what is right for the loyal fans and have it be based off the Charmed ones kids, who are the next generation.

Saturday Sewing with Debbie I always hated how they treated cole. he was trying to make himself good and phoebe was the one that had him turn evil, and then everyone blamed cole for it and treated him like the devil incarnate.

One of my favorite episodes would have to be when Paige meets her in a previous life Evil Enchantress self and gets pulled into her world. Especially when Piper says “Leo I thought you were a pacifist” and he says “I hope he is ok”

I also really like that episode where she gets big boobs because you know she's doing magic for personal gain and her boobs get so big that she can't shift gears and she has to have Phoebe to shift them for her that was so funny

mickey morales honestly they had everything in front of them, Wyatt was way too overpowered and we’ve already seen Chris in the series so why not focus the whole thing on Phoebe’s lineage? She’s the only one who had 3 girls, so 3 new charmed ones! Why not make a show around those 3 girls and sometimes have Prue appear as a ghost or their cousins appear or their aunts you know. They had so many potential and yet they went with the awful trailer we have.

MEANWHILE (in regard to all of the reboot bashing)... This panel talk was FUNNY AS F***!!!! I think it's so dope to learn of Holly and Brian outside of being Piper and Leo. Not just learning of their personal lives, but just merely how they interact with each other and other people in real time "away from the cameras". This was super refreshing to watch, and to be honest, it makes me more interested in watching the Charmed reboot. I don't need to incessantly make comparisons because I am at peace with the original show ending and what the show meant to/did for (technically, what the re-runs still do for) my life. I'm excited and hopeful for what the new version will do for the younger generations, knowing that IF THEY CHOOSE, they can still learn of the original series and be impacted by it as well.

I just don’t see why people can’t wait for the actual show to air before the decision to not watch it is made . That’s just me but to each their own .

They're still such a lovely match, so cute! Anyway Piper in italian is dubbed by one of the most popular voice over actresses, she also gives her voice to Carrie from Sexy and the city and doesn't sound soooo different from Holly's, she can't complain! :-)
