well there was blood all over his face, so obviously she hit him in the head. Also, the "killer" was already a part of the Raven Lake storyline and had been killing the other campers, so it wasn't completely random. but i agree, it is still pretty damn cheesy
just seeing how she never went into the water for her bf makes me laugh!!! she just stood on the boat crying lol and that CPR procedure was a complete disgrace.

No, you're right, there is more chem between Luke and Will. But you're dealing with a plot device in a soap opera that began in 1956! And it's all about the "good story overall". I'm intrigued because I've never seen the show but my Mom used to watch it when I came home from school for lunch back in the late 50's. Glad to see it's taking on some "difficult issues".
