    I have the quartz black dial version and I really enjoy it! I agree with all your comments, especially about the sharp edges. I currently use mine with an orange silicon strap and it gave it a more relaxed feel. It is also wears way lighter on my wrist, so I wear it more often. Cheers!

    Excellent review, I agree on all points. In this price range it’s usually easy to see where the company cheaped out, but aside from the minor issue of a stamped clasp, it seems Steeldive gave us everything on this one!

    Well, I must also confess that this new thread of you has changed my mind respect to Aliexpress's watches. Following your analusys is a serious candidate for a next purchase.
    Even its quartz version equiped with a humble but decent Miyota 2115 movement is enterely made in Stainless Steel with also an astonishing price of 35€ !

Bezel action is ropey so far round for a few clicks and doesnt line up perfectly either...did come with the V2 newer clasp which is very good at the price point ...but do agree with you for the money these are they are in my opnion the best budget homage subbie .....

    YES... The Sound of Quality. Got the Addisdive Kermit Quartz. I love it, but it has Sharp Edges and just a Mineral Glas, and the SEconds Hand does not align, and the Rolex Indicies are a bit short. And the Secondshand Jumps when it put in the Crown. So Is this the Way to to Go. The Steeldive?

      @@SalvatoreDiazManrique Well I do Prefer a watch that keeps perfect time and is slim and light (maybe because I have a smaller wrist). The Addisdive is great, altough a bit sharp on the bracelet. I knocked the sharp edges down with a nailfile. I have the Steeldive on my wrist. And It runs 20 seconds fast each day. So after 3 Days it runs a Minute fast. The Addisdive I set a Month Ago.. And still keeps time.

    Thomas, if a Submariner was your grail watch, would you say this is good enough, or would you save up for a Sugess/Seestern, San Martin, Steinheart....

      the problem here is, that up till ~200eur you can't get anything good and original. So it makes sense buying something like this. But if you are thinking about SanMartins, I would rather go with Orient Kamasu or something else with some originality and street credit rather than 1:1 copy of a Sub. As for the price this watch is amazing, I just wish some edges were a bit less sharp.

    • @damyr
      @damyr 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@plamenpenkov2865 Two marriages later... no need to say anything.
      Tho, back to watches, the thing which pissses me off the most is that every serious company in the world still produces them. Even few of those good quality Chinese companies. And because of that, almost no one wants to produce quartz.
      Why? Well, because they aren't profitable enough.
      Quartz is much less expensive to produce and doesn't need expensive maintenance. So, for that simple reason, they all are forcing much more profitable mechanical watches.
      Casio, Citizen, maybe a few Seikos, and a few luxury brands... There are also just a few respectable Chinese brands (like Baltany), but their offering is still very scarce... The rest is just ultra-low quality junk. And that's pretty much all of it.
      Now, compare that to mechanical watches... I mean, just look at several youtube watch channels... There's a whole ocean of brands and microbrands with their mechanical watch series. And that's incredible to me. Just incredible.
      It's like companies are competing who will produce more of low-quality/obsolete products and who will sell them for more money. Now, imagine that happens in any other industry... Nah, that'd be literally impossible to pull off.
