- In bovenstaande video gaat Willem Glaudemans in gesprek met Redmar van Kats en Christopher van Drie over de Nag Hammadi geschriften en de Gnosis.
De Nag Hammadigeschriften zijn een verzameling teksten uit de begintijd van het christendom die in 1945 gevonden werden in Midden-Egypte in het plaatsje Nag Hammadi.
In 1945 vonden drie broers deze geschriften in een kruik op een oude begraafplaats. De geschriften waren geschreven op papyrus en gebonden in leren kaften. Een zo gebonden boek wordt een codex genoemd. Er werden dertien codices gevonden die in totaal tweeënvijftig geschriften bevatten. Daaronder zijn een aantal duplicaten en van een enkel geschrift zijn meerdere versies. Het grootste deel van deze geschriften kan beschouwd worden als gnostische teksten. Er zijn drie hermetische geschriften en zeven geschriften die niet of nauwelijks als gnostisch beschouwd kunnen worden.
In 1994/1995 verscheen de Nederlandse vertaling (in twee delen) van de Nag Hammadi-geschriften. Inmiddels zijn daar nu ruim 25.000 exemplaren van verkocht en de vraag neemt niet af. Het belang van deze unieke geschriften voor een completer inzicht in het vroege christendom en de gestalte van Jezus van Nazareth wordt steeds meer onderkend. Vertalingen werden scherp tegen het licht gehouden en waar nodig herzien. Dat leidde soms tot compleet nieuwe vertalingen. Ook inleidingen en toelichtingen werden herzien naar de inzichten van nu.
Veel van deze teksten verwijzen naar wie wij ten diepste zijn en worden ook wel gezien als de weg van het hart. De teksten kunnen je helpen om Thuis te komen in de bron. Het doel van alle spirituele paden. Wij gingen met Willem in gesprek over de Gnostiek & de Nag Hammadi geschriften en het belang van deze teksten in de huidige tijd.

Ik lees het boek al een tijd, slechts een aantal bladzijden per maand. Als je de ogen hebt om het te zien, dan is dit één van de meest waardevolle boeken die je ooit zult lezen. Willem, wat ontzettend goed dat je deze uitleg geeft. Ik hoop dat velen het boek gaan lezen en doorleven. Ook fijn om gelijkgestemden te zien van alle leeftijden. ❤

Precies. Als de juiste linken gelegd worden in je hoofd kan alles als waarheid aanzien worden. Dat is net hetzelfde als proberen achterhalen wat een schrijver bedoelt wanneer je het geschrevene leest.
Ik zou graag het boek ook lezen, dan wel om uit te zoeken hoe de menselijkheid en de tijd van toen zich daar in uitdrukt. Dus helemaal niet als een zogenaamd goddelijk geïnspireerd document. Ziet er heel interessant uit.
Het ontroerd mij deze jonge gasten te horen. Gelijkwaardigheid.

Heel leerzaam. Dat boek heb ik nog steeds niet gekocht, het lijkt me zo moeilijk om te begrijpen. Maar Willem Glaudemans kan alles zo goed uitleggen. De teksten en uitleg in deze video raken me diep. Heel veel dank voor de upload 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Dank jullie wel voor dit verhelderende geestelijke innerlijke inspirerende gesprek. Het raakt me enorm omdat ik in deze roerige tijd juist meer naar de betekenis en de waarheid op zoek ben in mezelf.
Hopelijk komt er eens weer een gnostisch gesprek waarbij aan deelgenomen mag worden. Samen leren in de gnostiek.
Mooi! Kleine aanvulling: (30:12) 'Hij de rijk geworden is, zal heersen en hij die kracht heeft, zal er van afzien.' Voor mij slaat 'er' terug op 'heersen': dus wie kracht heeft, ziet af van willen heersen.

Het christelijke geloof bevat wél die dingen van innerlijk vernieuwen en "wakker worden". De samengestelde bijbel bevat ook allerlei teksten die hierover gaan. Bij een gemeente gaat het helemaal niet alleen over de kruisiging, maar wel veel inderdaad. Ik ben een lid van een gemeente en ik geloof het, maar ik geloof ook in het innerlijke. In de bijbel staat ook zoek en je zal vinden, dat gaat natuurlijk ook over dat innerlijke. Het heeft veel overeenkomst, vele teksten. Maar dan moet je wel de bijbel kennen om dat te weten. Verder interessante video en mooi rustige houding.

Dit is een zeer interessante video. Omtrent de vraag van Chris over: "hoe moeten wij deze uitspraken verstaan/uitleggen/begrijpen." De uitspraken van Jezus die hier aan bod kwamen. De uitleg is mooi en ja Willem hierover kan je wellicht een boek schrijven. De meesten onder ons weten niet dit in de huidige tijd en taal goed uit te leggen. Tip misschien?

@WillemGlaudemans. Geen Kerk, geen leiding, alleen vroeg ik de Schepper GOD of ik Zijn Zoon Yeshua mocht leren kennen. Joh.1:1 was een openbaring, dát begreep ik direct. Toen vonden sommige videos op youtube mijn hart. "Enoch 1" van R.H. Charles (oud Engels) worstel ik nog steeds mee. Jasher (Engels) is iets makkelijker. Ik ben oud, geen hoog IQ, maar elke nacht voor de slaap dank ik GOD, onze Schepper die mij kende nog voor de geboorte, in de naam van Zijn Zoon, onze Herder Yeshua. Like many "Christians" today, Satan believes Jesus died on the cross, but not for HIS sins. He believes Jesus has risen, but not for HIS eternal life.
Satan believes the event of the cross but never put his trust in Christ's finished work for salvation.
Salvation is not: Believing there is a God. (Satan believes that)

Salvation is not even... Believing Christ died, was buried and rose the third day. (Satan believes that also)

If denominationalists truly believed Christ forgave their sins, they wouldn't spend so much time trying to GET them forgiven.

Today I unapologetically proclaim that there is only one way to be saved, and it has nothing to do with getting your sins forgiven. Salvations through FAITH. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Salvation comes to those who are ready to give up on THEIR performance and rest their faith in JESUS' performance.
The path to salvation is narrow. SO narrow that nothing you do will fit.
