One of her biggest strengths is really the manipulation of different sounds. She can sound in the most different ways to compliment her music.
She rly can pull off a great dynamic contrast (as far as she isn’t lazy singing or being overpowered by fans lol)
Yes,I love the fact that if she wants to, she can sound like a soprano and contralto at the same time.
lana has one of the prettiest head voice i ever heard
She really does, or at least did.
@@Diego_Santa nah she still has it
@@Diego_Santa that’s funny you say that because I think it’s gotten a lot better😭😭
@@maggiesimpsin706 do you mean better nowadays?
@@Diego_Santa I prefer her current sound overall because it’s darkened and deepened over the years. Now I’m also saying this off of studio recordings bc I haven’t heard her live for the last few albums lol
how can Lana's voice be so dark and so light at the same time?(love your video, great job)
Thanks @Kaji for helping me labeling correctly some of her lower notes!
18:50 is a F#5*, I forgot to correct it my bad lol
This on 14:20 was just A THING, I'm shocked
Also I didn't know she could sing lower than D3 in this era, now I see I'm wrong
You did really great job
She rly trolled the audience I stan, and thanks!
she actually hit a C3 (well supported and effortless) in an interview while singing Million dollar man
@@gabrielgranel6070 yesss, I knew about this note but I wasn't sure when and in which way she performed it so... And yes, it's probably the best C3 she has ever made (or at least one of best)
@@libiar when Lana is relaxed her lower register sounds amazing, I would love to hear her hit 2nd octave notes, her voice seems to have characteristics of the main female vocal types so it's hard to put her in a precise classification, I saw her belted notes start around an E4/F4 (most of the contraltos have this) and her lower register has a very dark and heavy sound (when singing using 100% of her Full Chester voice) but on the other hand her Head Voice is very bright and light
@@gabrielgranel6070 well, you know, for me a point which starts a belting range seems related not to voice type. I don't really like discussing Lana's voice type, but for me she sounds like a soprano, first because her natural voice is really high, and second because of her youthful bright tone in her middle register, and also because of her second passaggio - it seems to be around F5/G5, which is typically for sopranos. She just really has well developed low register;
What about her 2nd octave notes - she actually has a B2 in Carmen, but quality of this note when she performs it is not that good
Great video! I always wanted somebody to do comprehensive live vocal range video about Lana but everyone seems to ignore fact she's a singer lmao
I'll be glad to see more videos about her tours, especially LA To The Moon tour but Paradise and Honeymoon tours are also underrated
With the “Honeymoon” tour, are you talking about “The Endless Summer Tour”? And I am so exited for analysing her next tours, but the Paradise one has like 90 dates lol :)
@@Diego_Santa Oh yeah, sorry, I just recently re-listened to this album and got them confused haha :)
@@lightning0506 Wish Honeymoon had a bigger recognition, it’s my fav album from her lol
Btw how would you rate her vocals here?
@@lightning0506 i miss u
Congratulations, Amazing Job on the video!! Her lows are very nice, and her upper headvoice is beautiful!!
Thanks! Her lows have always been her forte and her head voice during her early days was incredible, nowadays it’s sadly damaged. Her belts get better during other tours tho.
@@Diego_Santa Yes, unfortunately, she has cord closure issues now, probably due to smoking. She never went above E5 anymore, and her latest F#5 sounded so weak :(
@@Diego_Santa She sounds too airy now, her G5 on You'll Never Walk Alone was nice tho
@@kingofthegasstation8183 true, let’s hope her vocals during the next tour improve
@@Diego_Santa her lows are still great and her chest voice is Better and also her vibrato, maybe she is using more in her head voice for stylistic choices, but it either way its still really good and strong
I really love this video, you put so much effort in this, when is the next tour coming? :)
Glad you enjoyed the video! I also did the ‘Lizzy Grant’ era th-cam.com/video/2rmNgjdS1Iw/w-d-xo.html
Don’t know when I will start the next tour, I have other videos planned and it had loots of shows so I am lazy lol
@@Diego_Santa yeeeeah I saw that too :)I really love your videos, and it's ok, I'll wait for the other ones :)
great video!! hope you do this for her other eras as well!
Of course! But the Paradise tour has so many shows and I have to little time lol.
@@Diego_Santa take all the time you need king
She's a *Soubrette Soprano*
She just hit a new f#5 live, that id ls her highest belt so far
Are you talking about her singing “Million dollar man” on the instagram live?
@@Diego_Santa yeah, its an F#5 right? Its def higher than the Eb5 she used to do, also the three Eb5 after the note, she wasn't serious but that Just proves she can go Higher than she does
@@mariahxwhitney4534 I did hear the F#5. Sounded quite “pushed” for my taste, but it’s impressive
The Roadhouse million dollar man Eb5 peaked at E5
Oh wow! Thanks for pointing it out!
Are you goin to make other tours of hers?
Eventually, yes.
@@Diego_Santa great, wich tour are you gonna do next?
@@mariahxwhitney4534 I am more into making videos of each of her eras (includes the tour performances, instagram lives, tv shows…), and I decided to go for her Lizzy Grant/Pre Lana del Rey era.
@@Diego_Santa no way, i was revisiting that era too, cant wait for your next video than
@@mariahxwhitney4534 I posted it already!
